High school subjects

In my last year of High School I took:
Advanced Functions
Chemistry
Accounting
Philosophy
English
French

Chemistry=:mad:

I got mainly ECO classes this year:

1st - Biology
2nd - Curriculum Assitance
3rd - English 3
4th - American History 1

2nd semester

1st - American History
2nd - Math 3
3rd - Physical Science
4th - Curriculum Assitance

THis year is gonna be boring

When I was in High School, I took three subjects that I found most interesting; Art, History and Food Technology. Then I took the compulsory subjects which were English, Maths, Science (I did double Science) and Religious Studies. From my own experience, studying RS was pointless as it was never useful nor interesting (I'm not much of a Religious person) so therefore I wasn't bothered by it at all.

In my final year I took Spanish III, drawing/painting, ap literature, ap psychology, cp anatomy and physiology, and discrete mathematics. My ap lit class was the most difficult, just because we had so many essays and our teacher was such a tough grader on them, but I loved him and the class. I really loved my psych and drawing/painting classes as well.
Chemistry - hell HELL; hell
same!!

I really enjoyed History, English, Biology, and my electives in High School(mainly Ceramics and Art). I had a strong disdain for Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physical Education (freshman year), but that's because my coach was an asshat lol.

I'm a junior and I'm taking:

Honors humanities

Chorus

Algebra II

French III

P.E.

Chemistry

U.S. History

My fave is probably U.S. History cuz the teacher just got out of college and is not bitter from years of teaching high school ***holes. Also history is quite interesting to learn.

My least fave is Algebra II. We legit get 2 hours of homework 5 days a week and I'm not very good at it...also the teacher tells kids to shut the f up all the time so yeah...

I'm in 2nd year of high school in Scotland (age 13). I'm going to have to choose the subjects I'll take in 3rd year. Currently we have:
Art and Design
Business Education
Computing
English and Literacy
Geography
History
Home Economics
Mathematics and Numeracy
Modern Languages (mainly french)
Modern Studies
Music Performing
Personal and Social Education
Physical Education
Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies
Science
Technological Studies
I like computing best! and I'm worst at P.E. :( and my least favourite is either business or H.E. because I don't mind the work, I just don't like the teachers.. H.E. theory is honestly so boring and it's a double period to allow time for cooking things. Don't get me wrong I enjoy cooking/baking, it's just the teachers that ruin it honestly..

Hmm, favourite? Art, or drawing? (Drawing is its own subject for some reason haha!) also textiles. I love them three a lot, due to this crazy fun teacher who knows about anime and pop-culture and is just really great! Also perhaps tech, I like designing things a lot, but I'm less keen on actually constructing things. I hate maths, and science, with a burning passion. It's funny because one of my best friends came first in our schools entrance exam, and he's on the maths and science teams, yet hates art, so we're kinda opposite. I go to school in southern England, incase its relevant!

I've been out of high school for nearly a decade now. I'm so old, I know. o.o

These are what I remember taking for my electives: Band, Marching band, AP Music Theory, and... too many computer classes. I hated the computer classes. Also I was terrible at Music Theory. Hard to believe it ever snapped for me, but it did literally the next year when I took it in college.

My favorite class in high school - aside from marching band - was actually AP European History. It really set the foundation for my love for history, because I just enjoyed the class so much.

My senior year was an absolute mess... I ended up having to take 3 PE classes (one during the first semester and two in the second) because the high school I attended through my junior year only required 1 PE credit and I was saving it for my senior year (the school I had to move to required 3).

I also ended up in a Spanish 3 class even though I didn't speak Spanish, and I was one of 3 kids that wasn't fluent. I can't even begin to describe how embarrassing it was trying to read a paragraph in Spanish in front of my Puerto Rican teacher and a bunch of kids that all spoke perfect Spanish.

In addition, the high school I went to my senior year was so incredibly ghetto... a friend of mine got food poisoning from eating undercooked chicken served in the cafeteria, the school was in danger of being shut down for it's extremely low test scores, there were SO MANY pregnant teenagers (some of whom were having their second or even THIRD child), a kid I knew got arrested for doing coke outside the gym, there were multiple instances of kids smoking pot in the hallways/ stairwells between classes, there were metal detectors at every entrance and you had to have your bag checked when you walked in the door and to top it all off there was a bomb threat that year.

Super long rant aside, I had a few pretty cool teachers. My Spanish 3 teacher was the nicest lady ever (it was like I was breaking up with her when I dropped the class; I was one of the only well behaved kids), my Environmental Science teacher was awesome (she got in trouble for dying her hair blue and not covering the new tattoo she got on her arm lol), and my English teacher actually knew all the bands I liked so we got along.

My favorite subject was definitely Environmental Science; I liked my teacher, the kids in my class and the class itself. My least favorite was PE because I had 3 different coaches, only one of whom I liked, and I was in an all guys class for one of my 3 PE classes with a really creepy guy that hit on me EVERY DAY no matter how much of a ***** I was to him...

Okay now my rant's over.

Currently, my class are:
Art 1
Geometry (because I suck at math)
Japanese 2
Biology
History
Honors Literature
