Hello friends! I am looking into making my Christmas wishlist and was wondering what you guys might be hoping to receive this year (If you celebrate or if you have the privilege of making a list). It may help me get more into the spirit of the season--even though it is literally November, not sure why my family is asking so early..? All I can think of right now is the full box set of "The Office" as it is going to be taken off of Netflix next year.

A Switch

Weather it be for the holidays as a gift to myself cause I know my parents aren't gonna buy my an expensive console like that, or as a Bday gift to myself (which is in January but still), I've been reeeeeallly wanting to make a second island while still having my first.

But Switch systems have been out of stock here for a while. If I do see one I guess I gott jump at the opportunity to grab it before they're gone again.

My mother asked my brothers and me to start putting our lists together in September. She tries to buy things a little at a time, so it makes it easier for her. I didn't put much up this year, both because I tend to get things as I want/need them and because it's a hard year for everyone. I shifted a few books and movies over from my private lists.

My dad usually sends a check, because I'm in MA and he's in FL, so he figures that way I can get what I'd like. Trying to convince him that I don't need/want anything this year, since it's been such a tough one, but he's stubborn. :)

I would like some holiday gift sets from Sephora. The holiday sets are usually great value and it’s a smart way to try mini products to see if you like them. Especially since stuff there is so expensive usually. I want to try Rare Beauty and Wishful products and Briogeo hair masks.

I would also like a new grocery cart which is a boring gift but when you have to walk to the grocery store and you can only bring home as much as you can carry, it’s important lol.

Honestly if people wanted to give me something, I rather have it be money or a donation to a charity in my name. Or specialty food/snacks. I know I'm a hard person to shop for because if I really want something I would buy it myself and I like practical gifts.

I always have crochet patterns on etsy that I want to buy so it's an easy gift but some people would feel bad about giving me a $5 gift but I'm perfectly okay with it. I guess Pokemon Shield would be another one. I want to play it but I wouldn't spend the money myself for it.

usually i ask for a mix of clothes/accessories and merch. i love collecting so stuff like figures and keychains tend to be high on my list! this year my top 3 things are a cool sweatshirt i saw, a digivice, and a my melody figure.

Yeah I'd get that for myself if all the things weren't like 90 bucks in total, plus games are expensive here :c

I don't know what I want for Christmas, but I really want to give my boyfriend a painting of our cat, who passed away, but I am struggling with the daunting task of figuring out how to find an artist who can do the work I'd like. They'd have to live near my general area so it's a bit more challenging.

I know my family has been asking because they want to just order everything online and not go out to the stores. I don't have many ideas myself but I'll share what I do have:
New bedding (bed sheets / duvet)
Textured WASD keycaps for my keyboard
Clay face masks

I also will probably ask for a Switch game but I don't know what game to request.

I would really love a drawing tablet for Christmas. Which I probably would just buy myself lol

Hoping for a drum set. But knowing that's never going to happen, i'm probably just going to get a few graphic tees and some games like usual :/

This year I’ve asked for perfume, my partner and I are saving up to (hopefully) go on holiday next year so I’m trying not to go over the top!

I honestly hope I receive nothing to be honest. The spirit of the holiday is enough for me and I don’t really require anything else. A year or couple years ago my family gave me a bunch of money for Christmas and I really wanted to not accept it, but they made me keep it.

This is also kind of a weird question for me. Whether if it’s for my birthday or Christmas, I don’t usually like telling people what I want and instead leave it up to them to decide what they want to get me. It takes all of the mystery and fun of receiving presents away imo if you already know what you’re going to get.

Plus I’m in my twenties at this point and I really don’t need to be receiving gifts, especially during a pandemic when we’re trying to survive... lol

all i want is a new phone because the one i have is giving up on me slowly.. i dont even want the new iphone 12 that is coming out, or the 11, i would want atleast a iphone x. i have the 7+ and ever since the new update my phone's been acting up LOL

i just want a bunch of money and then i'll decide to do with it later. i'll probably spend that money on more games, figures, stuff for my room, and stuff like that. maybe albums or posters, definitely villager amiibos. it's kinda boring and i'm aware of that lmao

i might get this no face plush though.. 🥺 i'm pretty set on it actually.

I have no idea what I want either so I will 100% be looking at everyone else's ideas for inspiration too 😋

but honest TO GOD biibs I think I have the wildest, most expensive thing out there that you would like... I'm super tempted to get it :p
It's called a HiMirror Mini, it analyzes your skin and it's $274. At first, you would think "ok, this looks way too expensive for a mirror that does some tricks" BUT IT GETS BETTER! It has wifi and you can watch videos on it, so it's a 2-1 mirror that you could watch beauty tutorials on or just watch random videos on (I know I would be watching them 24/7 while admiring myself). It can charge your phone at the base, which I think is so neat. It has a warm and cool feature that helps with doing makeup as well. I recommend looking at reviews if you are interested, but it is on the pricey side of things. Just a suggestion, I may or may not be putting it on my list because it has mixed reviews.

thanks to [pandemic], i've been cooking a lot recently, so i'm looking forward to getting some cooking tools. my mom is a great chef, so this is a gift that is right in her wheelhouse. she loves giving surprise gifts that make people extra happy so i hope i don't disappoint her this year & can be really surprised and happy with the surprise gift lol

some other stuff i'm really wanting:
  • a set of watercolor pens & nice watercolors: i want to get back into watercolors & i've always been a traditional sketch artist first, digital artist second. i really want these to expand my art horizons
  • videogames for switch: self-explanatory- mario odyssey (already played, but i want to own it), katamari damacy reroll, hopefully the olive town preorder drops in time for me to ask for it for christmas
  • beauty products: i almost never buy these for myself because i'm cheap ;;;;;; so i really hope i can get some Fenty beauty
  • a nice wallet: i'm an old lady now, so i need a fancy old lady wallet for my growing number of credit cards.
this is the list i'm giving my family, friends, and BF. i love buying presents more than receiving them tho, so TBH that's what i'm really looking forward to this christmas <3
i'm going to commission so much art

My husband asked me for a Christmas list this year and I had a really hard time coming up with some ideas for it. But this is what I ultimately asked for:
- New winter boots for walking the dog
- Cute pajamas (especially now that I live in them thanks to COVID)
- Some books
- Animal Crossing Wild World

I kept my list relatively cheap because money's tight but I wouldn't turn down a GameCube and the original Animal Crossing or a Switch and Animal Crossing New Horizons. Both of those are way too much money right now, though.

I usually try to have a bit of everything on my gift lists so people don't have to be concerned spending too much or too little on my gifts even thought honestly I would prefer nothing or much smaller gifts of like $20 or under. I try to have a list of stuff I want but wouldn't get for myself and stuff I would use eventually. Like some people like giving practical gifts and other people want fun silly stuff. I try not to list items from shows/movies/anime that I'm a fan of because I'm really picky about that kind of stuff and I might not like it anymore in a year or so.
  • Stuff you use a lot and brand doesn't matter. Most hobbies usually have an item like this. For me it is yarn, washi tape, sticks, gym chalk. Stuff for my cat like toys and treats.
  • Stocking stuffer items/small gifts. For me it's stuff that's under $10 that I'm happy with getting. Crochet Patterns, books, yarn, pens.
  • Kinda expensive stuff. I have a lot of steam games on my list that are under $20. There's actually a few fancy cat collars I want to get for my cat but $15 is a lot for something as similar as a collar.
  • Expensive stuff - $20 - $100. Switch games or certain cooking applicances or a hand vaccum
  • The big ticket items are like the over $100 that I don't expect anyone to get me but I plan on getting myself. I really want a stand mixer and food processor. Would also like a bread proofing box since it gets pretty cold in our apartment and the yeast has a hard time rising.
