How can I track the fossils I already donated at the museum?

there isn't really a way other than writing everything down, but that takes too long. ur already going to blathers to assess the fossil, so when ur done try to donate them and the one's you've already donated will be greyed out. i wish there was a fossil encyclopedia, but there isn't unfortunately. there's just some really bizarre decisions made in this game, and i feel like the exclusion of a feature like that is one of of them.

i've heard of websites and apps being created to track things like bugs and fishes, maybe fossils can be tracked as well? if u make a list and group ur fossils by what creature they fall under, it may be easier to keep track of them that way. if u have ur phone or computer handy while playing u could make a google doc or sheets so u dont have to rely on paper & pencil.

In your Critterpedia on your nook phone, you can hover over the fossils, an icon of blathers will be next to its name if you've already donated it to the museum.
