Snow, what's that lmao?
I pretty much just tt'd back to the fall the whole time.
I played a little bit in the winter/snow but I found it pretty unbearable. My island looks weird and ugly in the snow, in my opinion. The white also hurts my eyes. I keep everything in dark mode on my devices if I can, so an all white screen is not my jam.
But I have absolutely no problem with time traveling or continually playing in fall , so it's no big deal to me haha! I do plan to catch my game back up to current time now that the snow is going to melt though, just for convenience sake.
i was very lazy during winter and barely got any holiday stuff (not that any of it interested me too much). i do regret not trying to get all the confetti cannons. barely caught any new stuff for my encyclopedias either. and tbh (i can't believe i'm saying this) i am very sick of all the snow. so much blinding white and festivale did not look nice with it either.
I thought the snow was really pretty! I enjoyed the snow more than I thought I would and my island doesn't look too bad in the winter. I especially love the way the palm trees look in the snow. The snowboys were mega annoying in my opinion so I didn't build very many of them, that's the only part I won't miss.
That being said I'm excited for my first spring since I didn't get the game until summer
It was fine mostly because I didn't play as much as I did last year. I took a break around Thanksgiving/Winter holidays so I had to TT back to do some of those events. The snow actually motivated me to go decorate some of the areas I've left blank and motivated me to redo areas I had since last summer since it looks terrible with the snow. I know I could just wait or TT to spring or summer but I looked back at some of my old screenshots and I didn't really like them that much.
I enjoyed it more then the previous animal crossing games. I remember the prior games being more dreary but this time it felt like there were lots to do and collect. It was nice!
I can only really stand winter for the one month, after New Year's I hardly play beyond doing shop orders as I've collected everything in December. I'm so ready for the snow to be gone soon, I'll probably get back to playing for real once spring arrives.
winter is my favourite season in-game and so i was looking forward to it and liked it a lot! i had fun with making snowboys, catching snowflakes and i loved seeing the cedar trees all lit up, even if it was only for a short while aha. that being said, i’m definitely looking forward to spring; i’ve missed how vibrant it is.
This is thefirst time snow in a game gave me migraines on a regular basis. I love snow but it's near unplayable for me during the day. Which sucks because winter is my favorite season and I love snow.
I love snow, both irl and in game, but I definitely reach a point where I'm excited for green grass again - not so much because I actively dislike the way the snow looks, but more because it's just more interesting to have the variety with the different grass shades. I also loved the auroras! I'm excited for the snow to melt so I can properly do some more decorating, because I just have more ideas when everything is more colourful
Winter is great, at least before January, because there's much to do. Collecting snowflakes and DIYs, making snowboys, decorating for the holidays, Toy Day, and New Year. But after that, there's not much else.
The period from January 2nd until Festivale has been dull since pretty much all winter activities were already done last year.
I actually liked winter in NH, which was surprising since I never really liked it in past games. The grass is a pretty seafoam-y color rather than the brown I remember it being in NL, and the snow is nice and sparkly, plus there's weather you don't get to see the rest of the year, so I didn't get sick of the aesthetics like I usually do. As for the DIYs, I built up jail bar walls on both sides of my island to get all the fall DIYs, so collecting all the winter ones wasn't really a problem.
That being said, I am ready for spring, especially if they might add new stuff to collect this year, since I'm probably not the only one who's just about done with everything seasonal, except catching one sea creature I'll be able to get in March and collecting the rest of the seasonal clothing.
I thought it’s was super cute, i loved how the snow crunched under my character’s feet. I also enjoyed the cute lil hats my villagers wore, they looked adorable in them! except Raymond, like bruh move out already I didn’t really like the snow boys since they were SO UNGRATEFUL that I made them soooo close to being perfect. Like, you don’t need to be perfect, you’re nice just the way you are. now gimme that diy I did time travel a lot so I didn’t get to experience winter every day, but over all i’d say it was nice. Although summer takes the best ACNH season award
I did like it to begin with, leading up to the snow I was really excited but it definitely got old quick. Winter has always been that season in AC that feels like time goes slower than usual lol, so I'll be happy to see it go.
I had lots of fun collecting all the ice recipes and decorating and celebrating the holidays, but then I wanted to work on my bamboo forest area again and I just couldn’t see how my terraforming was looking without the green
so I traveled to cherry blossom season so I could earn recipes while terraforming too
Hopefully next year my island will be complete and I can just enjoy the sparkle
i enjoyed it, though like many others, post-toy day was kind of rough. i can only withstand the winter and snow, even in game, for so long. i always end up missing the nice, bright, green grass.
