How did you get into Animal Crossing?

I saw ACNL being released in an ad in The Sun in 2013. I then thought about the game and then got it as a Christmas present in 2015. I then got ACHHD as a Christmas present in 2016. I got Pocket Camp in January on my phone but have deleted it since as I rarely used it.

I don't know!
I had a wii at my mom's house and somehow I had AC: Let's go to The City!
I don't know if she's the one who bought it but I just remember it was here and I loved playing it! And I still do!
I got introduced to the Wild World version later because my dad put it on my R4 but I didn't really play it.

A youtuber I watched LP Mario Party had an LP of animal crossing and it seemed like good fun! That encouraged me to get Wild World.

I had been playing mostly Pokemon and Mario Kart for years, and wanted a change.

I looked through all the titles back in the day, and Wild World sounded really cool. Just the type of game I was after.

It didn't disappoint.

I had my town for about four years before other things in my life needed my attention, so I took a few years hiatus.

When I started up again, it was with New Leaf, and again, it didn't disappoint.

I'm now just waiting for New Horizons like everyone else.

I was wanting to get a new game for my 3ds. As I was looking through all the titles, I came across animal crossing new leaf and it looked liked the kind of game I was looking for so I decided to give it a try as I had never played animal crossing before and it didn't disappoint and is one of my favorite games. Am now waiting on New Horizons to come out.

My parents gotten me the original GameCube game when I was young. That's what got me into the series. I played almost every game except city folk and amiibo festival. I always wanted to play city folk, but never gotten the chance to. I still have a wild world game card that barely works. I gotten new leaf for my birthday. New Horizons is the first game in the series I've gotten with my own money. I'm so dang loyal to franchise since the beginning. I'm just glad they are still making games compared to other Nintendo franchises.

It was a few years ago when my brother bought me my 3DS! I was looking for good games to buy, and my friend recommended Harvest Moon and Zelda. She also told me that ACNL was really good, but I was turned off by what I thought were childish graphics. Looking back, I'm really thankful that my friend was adamant about me buying ACNL. The game seriously changed my life - I was so obsessed over creating the perfect town, and I was always excited to play everyday. Looking forward to the release of New Horizons!

Well it was post-Christmas 2014, my brother received a New 3DS and Smash and I ended up playing smash but wasn't really into it at the time since I sucked, and hadn't played a Nintendo device since the Wii in like 2010 or something so I was out of the loop big time.

So I had an extra $60 enough to buy 1 game, I asked my (online) friends if I should purchase Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby and one of them suggested Animal Crossing and I was like huh, but they really convinced me to so I was like sure why not. Then I joined the forum within the next few days at someone else's suggestion and I've been hooked since.

I was maybe 11-12 when I sent and stayed the night at my friends house. She played animal crossing for the GameCube while I was there and at the time. I went home and begged my dad for a GameCube for my birthday and I didn?t get one. I guess he was saving up or felt bad because I got one later for Christmas and then he took me to a local game store to pick out two games. One happened to be Animal Crossing because I recognized it from my friends house. I?ve been into the games ever since!

One of the major video game magazines had a preview of AC Gamecube about a month before it was released here in the States.I had been playing a lot of first person shooters, action and sports games and I was looking for something different and just from what I gathered from the preview,I knew Animal Crossing was a game I should get.I remember that the game was easy to get into except for the very beginning when Rover is asking all those questions. He asks something like "So where are you going?"and I didn't know that this is where you entered the name of your town so I just put "thataway".So the name of my first AC town was Thataway.

I actually bought the one for Game Cube with my birthday money when I was a kid. I knew nothing about it and I just liked the box art. I started playing it that night. It was actually 4th of July the day that i bought it. We were on our way to see fire works and we stopped at Walmart to get soda and snacks and stuff before going. When I got home and i started playing it i thought that it was so cool that they were doing fire works in the game too.

Good old video easy back back in the day when it still existed in Australia. It was next to a bunch of games you could rent and wild world caught my eye. The cute art led me to beg my dad to get it for me for my birthday and ive been playing the franchise ever since.
