How do we feel about Zipper T Bunny

I like him. The creepy aspects of him just make him even more fun to run into on my island, especially this time around now that he actually wanders around (he didn't do that last year, right? I seem to remember he used to just chill in the town square). Catching him doing his lil hoppy dance, partially obscured by a tree, cracks me up lol. Also, the dejected sigh he lets out when you walk far enough away from him, and the crazed stare of the eyes on his mask... I can't explain it, his character is just really amusing to me

I've always found him to a bit weird, a lot like quite a few people seem to. I don't think it's a secret that it's someone in a costume, whether they're an NPC or a human, that's a mystery. I think the whole thing of him not wanting you to check if it's a costume is so you don't spoil the magic. He kinda does it himself though when you wander off and leave him and he just walks around like he's got the worst job ever, but as someone who's very introverted, being that cheery for that long would wipe me out too :'D

But yeah, I'd kinda not like him to be on the island personally. I find him just irritating and weird. I do like the play on his name though with it being Zipper T. Bunny, the zipper being a reference to the costume, and to a bunny's binky where they zoom around jumping.

The biggest crime in the game is that Zipper exists. He is so creepy. The way he looks, the way he talks, the way he dances. If Copper or Booker were in the game, I'd report him and get him jailed or something.

I absolutely adore Zipper. Easily my favourite NPC in the whole series. I just love everything about him.

In Pocket Camp there was a clothing item that was his mascot head and I exclusively wore it. I wish they brought it over to NH...​

Zipper is an absolute cutie ❤ Sure, he does have some unsettling aspects about him, but that's charming. I also feel a little sorry for him since he seems to be exhausted and not really enjoying his job too much. If it were up to me, he could hang around my island all the time.

I like him. I like his sarcasm and his demeanor in general. Plus in the previous games, I love standing behind him to purposely aggravate him about his mysterious zipper.

That was the first thing I did when I first played Bunny Day last year, lol.

How do you get behind him? I haven't managed that in NH - he spins around and always faces you so you can't get near the zipper.

I wonder if it's the same person each year or if its like a mall santa type deal

They draw straws. I always figure anyone except the lazy villagers are required to take a turn. Lazies most likely believe he's a real bunny.

I like him, even last year when he creeped everyone out. I feel bad that he feels the need to constantly hop though, like i wish he would just sit down or take a break or something.

I like Zipper. He isn't my favorite holiday NPC but I think the hate he gets is excessive. Being overprotective of his zipper and clearly hating his job is pretty funny imo.

...And I love him for it because that's just part of his charm ☺ I've loved him since CF- he's so awkward and weird and has delightfully cringeworthy dialogue. Bunny Day wouldn't be the same without him, and I love Bunny Day as it is

You have to do it the day of Bunny Day (April 4th) when he's just standing in your plaza. Not when he's roaming your island.

I love zipper! i remember seeing him when i played new leaf and he eventually became one of favourite npcs! I get why people say he’s creepy though I also really love hearing people’s theory’s on who’s in the zipper suit. my personal favourite theory is that Phyllis is in the costume cos they’re personalities and speaking under their breath is pretty similar

haha, i believe phyllis is in that costume as well! hearing them talk so similar, sighing, whispering under their breath, and being annoyed at everyone and everything all the time always has me thinking. plus the fact that if you check the time of which phyllis is supposed to be in the post office on bunny day she’s not there!! how much more proof do we need?

Zipper is my fave out of all the holiday NPCs. Halloween is my fave event though.

I'm a fan of the horror, mystery, suspense and thriller genre and Zipper just fits perfectly in it. Besides, he's got more character to him compared to other holiday NPCs.

I can't stand Zipper. This is a super cute game with adorable animals and here you have Zipper, who is supposedly a rabbit, but not cute at all. The items are nice but that rabbit is uncool.

I don't mind him, I think he is one of the most interesting NPCs since we don't know what's underneath his costume. I also really like his animation, it's one of the most lively. I understand that the eggs can get annoying though..

i honestly don’t really care for him - he’s not a bad npc by any means (imo, at least) and bunny day can be a pretty fun event when it’s not bombarding you with eggs for a week or two but for me, he’s always been a character that slips my mind until it’s time for him to make an appearance again. that being said, the concept of him makes me quite curious, too; obviously with his name, the zipper on the back, etc, his whole allure is about whether or not he’s an actual bunny or if he’s a human/other npc in an animal suit and while nobody really knows the answer to that nor will we ever find out, it’s definitely a fun mystery to think about aha. he also makes me a bit sad, too, though, with how miserable he is - i feel for the guy and even though he’s not a favourite of mine, i hope he’ll be able to find happiness someday.
