How do you guys store your crafting materials?

So, this has been really bothering me. Even with the upgraded inventory, I feel that crafting materials take up way too much inventory space. Once you add in the tools, fence builder, magic wand, customization kits, etc. you are left with barely any inventory spaces left.

I first tried storing the crafting materials away in the home storage, but that got super annoying anytime I picked up new materials or wanted to craft something. And then I decided to place them all on the ground next to my crafting bench, but I hate having stuff littering the ground. I wish there were a separate inventory for just crafting materials...

So how do you guys store your crafting materials?

In storage in my home. If I know I'm going to be doing a lot of a specific thing (hitting trees/fishing/digging) then I craft a few extra of those tools before heading out.

I made a little plot next to my house surrounded by a fence that has my crafting stuff on the ground for easy access and a crafting stump next to it. Super handy until i really get my town going and it doesnt clog my storage!

I put them on the ground beside my crafting table ^_^ Once the town is more developed, I don't believe it'll be an issue anymore and I won't have to keep so much around. When that happens, I'll keep a stack of each in my storage and it should be good enough to maintain the town later on.

I have a little spot on the beach with my crafting bench and materials laying around. I may fence it in eventually but it's fine for now.

every day when I log on I cut down tress and hit rocks and that stuff goes into my house till i need it

Currently I just dump them next to my crafting bench when I want more space... can't wait to get more inventory!
