Never to be honest! I always review things several times over before coming to a decision on whether to buy it or not.

Never. I always do the research before buying anything. I also look at reviews to see how other people think of the product.

I think I've only returned something once or twice ever, but only if these are defective electronics. Otherwise, I just accept the regret that I bought the wrong size or color online.

Very rarely, but it does happen from time to time. Especially when it's really expensive

I do sometimes. Usually it’s either because the product is very low quality or it wasn’t what I expected. I’ve refunded several games off of Steam if they disappointed me and I can only think of one time I regretted it.

I try to avoid returning things I bought online unless there’s something seriously wrong… because I think most of that stuff ends up in a landfill. So I regift it or repurpose it. So I’m pretty picky about buying things in the first place.

But I will return stuff to brick and mortar stores because I know they will usually restock it and sell it again. (I worked as a cashier at Target one summer; I never worked go backs, but I certainly know they put most of the relevant stuff back out there. If it’s a clearance item, I usually just find some use for it.)

not super often. i try to do some research before buying anything online, but sometimes the reviews end up being wrong/subjective or there aren't m/any to begin with. i had to return two items to amazon a few weeks back, and for all my gripes with the company, i did at least appreciate how easy it was to return stuff -- i didn't even need packaging or to print my own label.

it depends on the return policy/how easy they make it for u to return things. i tend to buy a lot of things to try on amazon because they make it so easy for u to return lol. but typically no i'm usually quite happy with most of my purchases.

I was absolutely ANNOYING when I was younger lol

I remember constantly returning/exchanging this somewhat expensive Logitech mouse because there was always a tiny cosmetic imperfection that I or anyone would not bat an eye. I swear I'm fine now

I hate returning things, it gives me anxiety ◉﹏◉;;
Especially online- the thought of having to mail something freaks me out for some reason. But I will return something if it doesn't work or I was sent the wrong item (if it's cheap, I'll just shrug it off).

A couple months ago I returned a used copy of Pokémon Violet I bought because the cartridge inside was Shining Pearl... Seems like someone abused the return system to swap their old game for a new one >__>

I've only ever returned one or two things. Usually I just bite the bullet and keep it / regift it or with clothes typically I might keep it as an oversized item (too small, I would return).

I do remember when I was little me and my mum went to a department store to return a plastic gumball machine as it had broken within, like, a day lol

I try to think carefully about my purchases so I don't often make returns, maybe 1-2 times a year. I also find returning online a hassle because sometimes they make you pay for shipping.

I don't really buy stuff online, so I also never return stuff. When I buy physically I do a quality check. I don't remember returning anything.

Rarely... I don't like to have to return stuff but a while ago I bought a mouse online and it kept malfunctioning so I felt like I needed to return it and get my money back...

Pretty much never. I almost always buy things in person, so I'm sure that what I'm getting fits well or is of good quality before buying it. That way the defects (if there are any) will be small enough to live with.

If I buy or bid on anything on eBay, I always look at the photos provided and read the description. That way if something isn’t right, I can have something to compare the item with and determine if the problem happened during shipping. The only time I got duped was when I inadvertently bought a counterfeit copy of Pokémon Emerald which in my defense was impossible to tell from the pics provided that it was a fake. It was really impressive how accurate it looked tbh. I mean the plastic was the correct shade of green and transparent and the label was actually shiny and no spelling errors were present on the cart. The only things that gave away its true nature was the fact it was missing the number imprinted on the label which I didn’t know was a thing and something missing on the back of the chip in the back which I also didn’t know was used to determine the legitimacy of GBA games. Didn’t lose too much money and I didn’t want to bother with the hassle of filing a complaint.

I am a chronic returner, because I purchase a lot of impulse type of items, & shopping online is just way too easy to do! 🤦🏻‍♀️ And luckily, I have several stores close to me that I can easily return to.

Fortunately, having to return purchases hasn't been a common occurrence for me. I wouldn't say it has never happened, but it's very rare that it's necessary to do so.
