How do you like your pancakes?

A little bit of cream and syrup is so good as long as there's not too much. Last year when I was in Germany we stopped into this fancy pancake house and I ordered one with chocolate syrup, because it looked AMAZING in the menu, but when it arrived it was the tiniest little drizzling of syrup I had ever seen. It was in a swirl because I guess that makes it "fancy" and "gourmet", right? It wasn't cheap either. Meanwhile my brother ordered the Nutella pancake and it came with a separate jar of Nutella for you to spread to your heart's content, and at the same price. I was sad.
