How do you make your bells?

I catch any high-value fish to sell and I sell ore, fruit, fossils, and gyroids (fossil collection is complete in Tadfield.)

My old method was selling anything and everything from the island, and then time traveling to get seasonal stuff and selling that on tumblr. The ACNL community seems to have quieted down since Happy Home Designer came out though so I guess it's back to the island for me, or maybe turnips.

Fishes and bugs are where my money comes from. Sometimes I sell my perfect fruits too if retail is offering premium.

It's what they list as 'bells' on here under your post count and avatar. You get them for posting.

I go to the island and catch as many high priced beetles and sharks as possible, go to Re-Tail, sell everything I caught, then ride back to the island for a second collection. I always heard turnips are great for making money, but I don't want to learn the Stalk Market and I'd rather have a consistent, dependable method of earning Bells instead of doing anything high-risk high-reward.

On my first town, the bulk of my bells came from turnip trading, while on its peak. It was easy to find a town selling for 500, 600 and I used to fill my entire storage with turnips. But I also did my share of beetle and shark hunting, on the beginning. Probably my first 6M were from that, and everything else (50+M) from turnips.

Now, on my second town, part of it is from my old town, and the other part villager selling. I need to go back to turnip trading, but I don't know how easy it is right now, considering there isn't that many people playing nowadays.

Bug hunting on the island. Its sort of like knitting. I just catch while watching tv with hubby, sort of relaxing.

Reply on random threads to gain TBT (website's form of currency) and the more you have the more bells you can buy. Tricky thing is, finding someone that is selling bells.

I started using only the island for bugs, later I started doing trades due to having a large catalog. People paid me quite a lot for full sets, and I made millions off of that.

I'm lazy so I do TBT to IGB trades. But now a days I just sell fossils after I accumulate them since my museum is almost complete and I keep getting repeats.

Mainly from the island bug hunting, but now I'm using snowflakes and a Snowmam who I give them to for the Ice Series, which sells for 8,888 an item. It's a quick way to get money without having to talk to that cranky kappa about taking a cruise to an island- or having to wait for night.

I'm currently getting my Bells from fossils, but it's not a very helpful method for me so I'll have to get back to beetle hunting soon. :p

I sell my gems, sell miscellaneous items that I get from my villagers, go to the island, let my money in the ATM build interest and sell stuff to other people on this site. :)

- bug hunting since I just restarted
- selling everything reorder able that I don't need
- if I'm really desperate I trade my tbt for igb

Bug hunting on the island and selling off my extra stuff in re-tail. I've been too lazy to list here, so far but I'm sure I eventually will.
