How do you react when you see a fly?

One of my neighboring families do a horrible job taking care of their dogs. They don't pick up the poop as often as they should; or they'll put it near the fence dividing us. As a result, every summer, flies try to get into our house in order to escape the heat. The laws in my town are too lax, so our hands are tied. We have to eliminate the flies or else more will come in. That has happened before.

I mean they can be annoying so i'll jsut swat them away. but if they can't get out of the house they tend to get sluggish then i catch them and release :3 they may be annoying but they dont bite

I act annoyed. It's really hard to hit them. I act even more annoyed at the fact our cats will chase it and almost break things because it's leading them to places they shouldn't be!
Now with that said, I don't remember flies in particular being in the house often, though other bugs have shown up a lot.
If I hear buzzing behind the blinds of a window, my first thought is a bee or wasp because they've unfortunately shown up more.

I actually have a phobia of flies (buzzing), so I usually just freak out. It's so bad that I don't even like being the one to kill them.

I wave it away.
As a tiny kid I screamed and cried and sometimes ran away because my grandma would always wig out over flies. She said they bite her all the time. They were regular old house flies though so I am not sure how they could do that.
