I think setting up resolutions and goals in late December or early January is pretty popular, but I thought it'd be fun and maybe insightful to give everyone the chance to do a bit of a progress update. So how have the goals you set for yourself been?
I've set a fair amount of goals for myself, but the major one was being kinder to myself, I was very hard on myself in 2018 and I wanna be more fair with my expectations of myself. I think I'm working towards it, I'm still not perfect and criticize myself really harshly sometimes, but I haven't given up either.
i havent been to a swimming pool yet but thats because its exam season AND i didnt even have a swimming suit for a while..... ive been eating less and better, im trying to control or at least acknowledge my binges when they happen and im slowly coming to terms with my ed ad thats supposedly the first step to getting better, i lost some weight....... the one im really struggling with is studying because i just dont have the mental energy to do it? also my sleeping pattern went to **** because of all nighters before exams BUT overall the positives outweight the negatives for me so im not doing that bad
My resolution was pretty broad, basically just do more self-care and feel better about myself overall. I'd say it's going alright, I'm working on developing better habits for myself such as consistently flossing, a better skin-care routine, etc. and I've been trying to focus more on what I like rather than what I think others will think in regards to my clothing and hairstyle and stuff. The latter has actually been kind of freeing, going shopping for clothes has been way more fun. I'm still working on keeping these habits, and there's still a long way to go with my self-image, but I think I've made good progress for just a month!
My resolution was to exercise more and maybe even lose some weight. In starting out with taking ~15k steps a day, and when Spring cones around I'd like to go to the gym more (it's too cold to walk there rn). I also wanted to start eating better and less, and I've been keeping up with it. So I'd say it's going well so far
I haven't been using mouthwash as often. A back up one was to avoid the cheap, lower quality lunchmeat, because you could never tell if a certain brand's corned beef had gone off. Doing well on that one.
My main goal was to continue to recover from my health problems which is something I’m pleased to say I’ve made a lot of progress with! I also wanted to travel more and I’ve booked a few trips already and made plans which I’m very excited about ^__^
