I wish my sister could refund ACNH because she doesn't care about the game anymore, she said it's boring and she doesn't want me to play it So what's the point? Her 60$ was a waste. Edit: Just forgot to say even a few 3ds games l wish l could have refund from the shop.

It's a problem that Nintendo doesn't have a refund option Many people out there have wasted their money on games that they didn't want from eshop.

Yes sorry l had to edit the title because l didn't mean just switch games xD

I only have AcNH on my switch lite right now, but on my 3ds I got a monster hunter game to play with a friend (he no longer is a friend) since they suggested it — and then they never even got the game lol... I never played it and would love a refund so I can buy some games on my switch lite.

Nothing yet! My ex bought me all my games minus Phoenix Wright and Spyro which I got on sale and I like so I'm fine for now! Switch games are soooo expensive so I make sure to do my research before purchasing. Sometimes that doesn't 100% help me but often it stops me from buying bad games or games I don't like.

That sucks. But if you like we can play?

Thanks for the offer; I appreciate it :). I’ll let you know if I want to try it, though my right trigger button is busted so Idk if that will matter. Also, I just ordered Paper Mario with a gift card that my mom gave me the other day for a special occasion we celebrate every year, so I might be too invested in that along with ACNH, we’ll see lol. I can usually only balance one game at a time. I usually forget or lose interest in the other game when I try playing a few at once.

There were only two digital games on the 3DS that I picked up and uninstalled shortly after:
  • Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns (they started adding a bunch of complex things/gimmicks that took away from the reasons I wanted to play these types of games)
  • Alpha Sapphire (didn't enjoy the remakes)
No Switch games yet, thankfully! I typically buy physical-only apart from a few games I couldn't find/get such as Atelier Ryza, and New Horizons. I wasn't able to pick up my pre-order nor was my local shop shipping at that time, so I was forced to buy digital.

I have a good feel for games I know I'll enjoy. I check the team and will watch previews/reviews to get an initial impression. It'd be nice to have a refund option as a safety net, but that would turn into a lot of "free" demos. It can be a bit different with a platform like Steam as there's a lot of early access content and system requirements vary greatly. I am guilty of using the refund feature for 1-2 games I bought with friends and didn't enjoy at all though.

Probably the only thing I would refund would be Virtual Console games. When I first got my 3DS, I didn't really have money for any big-name games so I ended up buying a few cheap VC games to hold me over. I don't really have any use for them anymore and am pretty much never in the mood to play them.

I would say Alpha Sapphire as well, since I thought those remakes were pretty bad as well, if not for the fact that it's the only place I can store all my Pokémon without paying for a bank service to hold them indefinitely for no reason.

Okay. I understand, but when ever feel like it you can play with me. Also the right trigger does need to be used in the game, but l think you could change settings of the controls. I will have to check

New Leaf and Alpha Sapphire because I regret not getting the physical versions. I ended up buying Alpha Sapphire twice to complete my Pokémon DS-3DS physical collection🤭

Alpha Sapphire felt like Pokèmon Y to me. So yeah to me it was a waste when l got it

ACNH: I wish I could refund it and buy it later when most of the updates are out. I'm not really playing it much currently and I have other things I could use that $60 on right now.

Stardew Valley: I regret buying it on the Switch. I wish I had bought it on PC instead so I could play with mods, but I don't like the game enough to buy it twice.

Stella Glow: It's not the worst game I've ever played, but it is my most hated game.

Rune Factory 4 Special: I love RF4 on the 3ds so I was excited for it to come to the Switch, but I guess I got my fill with the original because I've only played about 10 hours of the Switch version. Not worth the $40 I paid (but it's totally worth the price if you haven't put a ton of time into the 3ds version already).

Pokemon Moon: Just didn't like it all that much.

Pokémon X and Y, but with all the new features stripped out.

The only real use the game has outside of that is the Hoopa rings that allow you catch legendaries from previous games. But that hardly undermines the rest of the game feeling barren and in a constant state of "one step forward, two big steps back" when compared to the GBA counterparts.

Oh, I didn't read this properly. This includes 3DS games. In that case...

Pokemon Ultra Moon
Boring and just couldn't get into it.

Story of Seasons
Couldn't get into it. I have Stardew which I think is better.

Super Mystery Dungeon
Definitely felt too kiddish. The Pokemon's dialogue was too much for kids and it made me feel awkward.

Yeah a lot of people decided to stick with PC version because of mods. Just like Terraria, that's why I got the PC version for T mod loader.

There's nothing I've bought on the eShop that I've regretted, so I wouldn't refund any games. Of course, that said, I don't buy games too often from the eShop, so I make sure what I do buy is something I will enjoy and get my money's worth out of.

I avoid digital purchases, but my mom gifted me a gift card and I bought the Mario + Rabbids game from it. I'd like to refund it because I don't feel strongly about it, I'd buy some indie games from it but at the same time I want physical versions of those games and Stardew Valley f.e. just announced a physical version so I still have hope for other indie games. Keeping digital games forever makes me kinda anxious tbh.
