How many resets did it take you to get your town?

Many many many many times... ;;; I reset for quite a while but ended up finding a town I really ended up liking in the end last Friday. :)

I actually didn't reset at all. I used to do a lot of that in City Folk to get a good layout, but I was happy enough to be given a choice by Rover this time. My town isn't perfect. It has pears when I would have loved nothing more than oranges. Placing public works projects is difficult. The river creates two long strips of land that can't be used for much of anything because they're too thin. I'm actually okay with that, though. Even if the random maps weren't too kind to me, they certainly weren't cruel. I have decent rock placement, Re-tail in a perfect spot, a good area for my house, and one of those cool wetsuit only sections of the beach.
As mayor, I make it my job to turn my average little town into something I can be proud of.

none! my current town map was literally the first choice available and overall I'm pretty happy with it! :)

Took me 3 times, the only type of specifics I was looking for were triangle grass and oranges as the native fruit. Would've been nice to have Curt too, but I got him from the campsite two months later.

i like my map and villagers. i like everything about my town 'v'
i put too much time into my town to lose it

I never reset my game because I was happy with the layout and I thought the starters were decent. If I could go back I'd probably restart for more interesting villagers. I really haven't had any super good ones since I started.

My main town I just went with whatever, i don't actually remember ever looking at the maps, now that I look at it thought I got a a pretty good layout though.

For my secondary game I reset multiple times for a good map and decent villagers, idk how many times but i was there at least thirty minutes.

For my first town I only chose out of Rover's pics...kinda regret not resetting, but I can deal with my main town for now, getting a second copy soon.

One and a half days - That is because I have a very clear picture of my house and major PWP placements in my mind. I am glad I spent all that time getting my current map.

Only once. The first town I got, I can't even remember the villagers that were there, but I guess I didn't like them lol. The second time I was happy with it because I saw I got a cute little black hamster, Hamphrey who became my best friend xD

I was lucky in that the very first map I was shown was a good one. I checked the other three, but I'm now very happy with my otwn and everything was in a good location. I didn't care about villagers as they can move out. The layout and locations are key!

Had my first town which i just picked, for 1 month
then reset for Azalea for a few hours, and ive now had this town for 2 months and 1 week :p

And im getting a second town to just pick the first town i get and go natural with villagers :p
