Good evening people of The Bell Tree! It's good to see you all again. I know it may seem strange to be invited into The Woods, but please gather around quickly so I can explain, we don't have much time. Last year you helped me fight back the forces of evil from these woods and I've been living here a little uneasily, but I've made them my home nonetheless. However, things have recently started to change drastically for the worse. The air has become thicker, the sky has become darker, and I feel a tormenting presence creeping in around me. I knew this time would come, but I was not prepared for this kind of deception.
The Last Tree Ghost is trying to reclaim dominion over The Woods and he has corrupted my candy in order to infiltrate his way in! As you've seen, some candy is putting a curse over those who eat it. Oh the horror and torment that the victims must feel under such an oppressive sickness! Will you help me fight this curse and fight against The Last Tree Ghost again? Surely anyone who refuses to contribute in this good cause is nothing but a pawn of darkness. And those who work to spread the curse? May their tastebuds be blunted from the sweet flavor of candy.
Over the years, The Last Tree Ghost has devised many horrific curses against the people of The Bell Tree and this year is no different. Something beautiful and sweet has been corrupted into something bitter and horrible. Watch out for the Dark Candy! Names are important. They stand for who you are where you come from. A curse that can take your name from you? That is evil manifest! But it gets worse... your other information and even your collectibles will be cloaked in darkness, never to be seen. Your disease, however, will be seen by all because invisibility powers are ineffective while cursed.
If you are cursed, you must follow these steps to be uncursed. First, dispose of the Dark Candy by giving it to someone else. Second, get some Spooky Toothpaste. Third, go to your inventory and click Configure. It may take a while before it cures you, but if you are still holding or eating any Dark Candy, it won't work.
I invented this toothpaste to cure the curse of the evil Dark Candy cavities, but I didn't have time to make very much of it. Please share it with other people who are cursed after you use it so we can fight back The Last Tree Ghost as fast as possible. Together we can reclaim The Woods for me again!
