How many villager pictures have you gotten?

I think I have around 13 right now and 1 of them is a duplicate. I'm currently trying to get Monique's but she's being very stubborn.

I don’t interact with my villagers as much as I should. I like more the customization aspect of the game. They really shouldn’t have made me the resident representative.

currently have 12! i've been slacking recently, especially since the loss of the fruit stack method + i haven't yet bothered to buy a bunch of wrapping paper to wrap up fruit.

I have around 640 hours of playtime and only three pictures: Pate, Annalisa and Lucky. I try to talk to my villagers daily, but I only gift them if I really want them to have a certain item. I like getting pictures, but since the animals I have right now are all permanent, I'm not in a hurry to actively work towards that.
I currently have 24 villager photos, most of them collected in the last few months by constantly handing my villagers stacks of wrapped fruit, don't think I'll be collecting too many more photos though as I'm only trying to get the ones from my favourite villagers and I've almost achieved this now.

I have 23 ... I've always enjoyed collecting the pics in the games that have them, it's a great feeling of achievement when you get one because you've made the effort with your villagers ... I have two Kyle photos actually, and three of Clay !! He must really like me D

I have gotten 26 different photos, but also got a second from fauna, 3 from Genji, 3 from bangle, 3 from flurry, two from tabby, two from Cole. (I can’t bring myself to sell any photos at nooks, so not sure what I will do with them as I get more and more from my villagers I am keeping around).
on my second island I have 10 so far - haven’t played that one as much.
I love talking to my villagers, and though I don’t necessarily gift them all everyday anymore, I like gifting them clothes or fruit or wreaths or very occasionally furniture.
of the pictures I got i’d say that about 4 or 5 came as rewards for favors or hide and seek rather than gifts and those felt extra special.
I have a hard time saying goodbye to villagers, and I think having the photo as a sort of ‘achievement’/ memento does make it a little easier.

15. I should have 16, but I I accidentally sold Judy's. Currently working on getting it again. I have duplicates for only 4 villagers (Lily, Teddy, Sherb, and Wolfgang) because I stop giving them wrap 3x fruit once I earn their photo. I let 4 villagers leave without getting their photo (Olaf, Zucker, Nate, and Pinky).
i have photos from: katt, mitzi, merry, kabuki, tangy, kid cat, purrl, lolly, raymond, bob, scoot, fuschia, keaton, flora, twiggy, willow, peaches, stitches, claudia, chief, rilla, chelsea, toby, marty, and etoile. that's 25! currently working on getting photos from chrissy, francine, pietro, frita, judy, fang, dom, chai, and tia (and i'll probably end up getting a duplicate of stitches' photo in the process). i really like my current villager lineup so i doubt i'll be moving anyone out anytime soon even after getting those photos so that'll be all for awhile.

Despite playing the game since its launch in March of last year, I've only acquired two villager pictures: Snake and Ursala, my starting Jock and Sisterly villagers who I replaced months ago. I basically never to errands for my villagers because they're mostly permanent and I don't want to wreck the interior design of their homes by giving them unflattering clothes, bugs, or fish. As such, their friendship levels probably aren't that high. The only reason I managed to get Snake and Ursala's is because, since I had no intention of keeping them and did indeed replace them, I had no problem with wrecking their homes with fish and bugs or anything else.
If youre interested in raising friendship to get photos you can give wrapped fossils or wrapped stacks of fruit each day. It won't ruin their house as they will never display it and it boosts friendship/ is high enough value to get the photos when in range.

Thanks! Looks like wrapped stacks of fruit come to the rescue again, as I'd seen people suggesting it for birthdays as well. Good thing I've kept my orchard despite considering getting rid of it.

but I’ve only had my island since March 1st and i was lazy with presents and only chatted for about two weeks. But i have several at the highest tier now, so doing the giant clam stack gifting. 
i want to try to get a villager’s pic before allowing them to move, which was kind of a dumb idea in retrospect
