I average about an hour to an hour and a half a day. That's all I have time for most days after work, household chores and spending time with the hubby. Sometimes on the weekend I might play a little extra during the day, but usually that's when the game is fresh and I'm just starting my town or if I have something specific I want to accomplish that I know will take longer.
I don't play New Leaf anymore but when I was an active player I played from the time I got home from school to the time I went to bed and on weekends I'd only stop to eat meals and go to the bathroom.
I was 15 when New Leaf came out. I'm 23 now, and super excited for New Horizons, so we'll see how much I play in a day now that I'm older!
My 3DS says I average around two hours a day, so likely less than that now.
When I was first playing it was definitely around five hours; it will likely be the same for New Horizons.
When I first picked New Leaf up again, I was playing about two hours to get everything caught up and cleaned up. Now, it is about 15 to 30 minutes a day when I play. It is getting less and less as New Horizons inches closer. I mostly go in to water flowers and refurbish items.
when i was little, i would play all day from when i got home to bedtime (and even a little past that). i haven't been playing new leaf for a few months now, just because life is CHAOTIC, but i used to play for around 1 hour to check on my town and do some favours! i miss it a lot. i think i'll be playing new horizons for ~1-2 hours a day for as long as i possibly can before exam season hits and then i'll see where i go from there.
I used to play for hours a day but more recently I can only commit about an hour or two to the game because of study/work!
Plus I’m kind of at a point in my town where I’m only there to do dailies, I’ll definitely be spending a lot more time playing New Horizons. I’m also into pocket camp as well which I play on my breaks at college and every couple of hours once I’m home c:
I could play for a couple hours if I had a specific thing I was working on. Now a days I log on my ACNL towns to check my flowers and rearrange some room furniture, so 30 minutes to an hour maximum. I'll probably play ACNH for hours on end when it first comes out, then reduce the time after a while. I'm not going to time travel so I don't imagine I'll be on it as excessively as I usually do in a single play session. I'll definitely play every single day though.
When I had Wild World I honestly breathed the game and played it for every waking hour even before school in the morning. With New Leaf I was kinda busy and distracted when it came out, so when I got around to playing it I just started it on release day and time travelled to current day to get everything unlocked asap. It was a lot of fun to just grind the game, but with New Horizons I want to play it properly. I'll probably give it like 2-3 hours a day, depending on what there is to do and how much time I have for myself.
I rarely play New Leaf anymore, but I'd say for the first year or two I'd play for an hour or so a day, or at least almost every day. And it will probably be the same for New Horizons.
uh... anywhere between "all day" to "none at all." thanks to being on the autism spectrum and possibly having adhd, i tend to switch between things i'm hyperfocused on. if i'm hyperfocused, i will bring my ds with me or play pocket camp, time travel, plot reset, and play all day and night. this is one of those moments.
when i'm not hyperfocused, though, i might spend a couple hours on it a day, but otherwise that's it, and that's if i can get my head out of whatever i'm focused on at the moment.
