How much sleep do you need to catch up on? Do you have little to no sleep, or do you have a very low sleep debt and sleep your normal hours?

My sleep debt is super high, I get like 4-5 hours of sleep a day.
 
on school days i get around 5-6 hours, but on days off school i can get 9-10 hours.

i guess it'd be high cuz i usually go to school 5 days a week so most days i have 5-6 hours of sleep.
 
Meh I usually get 6-8 hours of sleep which does me.
Maybe on weekends I get a little more. You could consider my sleep dept high but it doesn't feel like it for me lol
 
No matter how much sleep I get is never enough. I always feel like I never got enough sleep so I feel like I'm always in high debt.
 
I'm low right now, but when the break ends and I'm back to school, I'll be in high debt again xD
 
Too much.. I get about 3 hours of sleep everyday because of school, working on fixing my sleep schedule though.
 
Sundays - Wednesday I get maybe two hours of sleep. I make it up Thursday - Saturday by getting at least 6 hours of sleep on those days. But that might change within the next few weeks...and maybe I'll just get 2 hours of sleep Sunday - Saturday lol.
 
I don't sleep a lot (4-6 hours), but I don't feel that tired throughout the day if I do sleep less, so I don't need to "catch up on sleep." So low debt maybe?
 
For some reason I usually feel really tired in the morning when I wake up and then don't feel tired at all at night, so I often have trouble sleeping enough. I never drink caffeine, so I don't know why I get less tired as the day goes on. On weekends, I'll sometimes sleep for 10-12 hours just because I don't feel like waking up.
 
I get around 4 to 5 hours each night. Even on weekends, I somehow end up waking early which causes some heavy bags under my eyes..
 
I usually get 8+ hours sleep but I'm constantly tired so my dept is probably high.

So true. And when I try to stay up all night to get on a regular sleeping schedule, I always am less tired when it's actually time to sleep
I'll like wake up at 11 am and then be like "I'm too tired." and fall back asleep. then after that I wake up at 1 pm and I'm angry at myself. It always happens. I sleep a ridiculous amount of time yet I'm still tired. It's probably cause I'm ridiculously lazy all day.

Doctors recommend you get 8 hrs of sleep per night. I rarely get 8 hrs of sleep now. I could easily sleep for 8 hrs+ as a kid. Because of my morning classes, my biological clock wakes me up at around 7 am and I can't fall asleep at 11 PM. I've been in sleep debt for years. Now, I get drowsy everyday from 2 to 5 PM and get re-energized at night.
 
With my last job it was pretty bad. I was lucky to sleep 6 hours a night. It wasn't that I didn't try. I would just end up lying in bed and unable to fall asleep. The stress was my problem.

I'm fine now though. I sleep about 8-9 hours a night. TBH, that's probably too much, even. Some days I get these "slept too long" headaches. I need to find a compromise. LOL
 
I sleep maybe about 6 hrs, but I need like 8-9 to not be tired the whole day.
 
i have pretty bad insomnia and have for years, so I usually run on either no sleep at all or three to four hours. on my days off I'll try to take naps, but even that can get difficult.​
