How much sleep do you need to function?

& Do you usually get more or less than that?

Honestly I think I need a full 8 hours to be able to even function. If my anxiety, insomnia and work schedule allowed me I would probably even says 10+ hours... Anything less, I’m basically a zombie.

Buuuuuut I usually unfortunately get less than that. Lately it’s been nothing more than 5/6 hours if that... ;;​

I've had insomnia for years, but have forced myself into a half decent sleeping pattern now.

I consider 4 hours sleep to be a coma! ^_^
 
I need 7hours to get up and function but at least 9 to be in a good mood for the day ahaha

to get up at least, i can function on anything but i usually cant wake up before 10
 
4 hours then I can function. But lately I haven't been able to take any longer than 2.5 hours. It's been this way for over a year now. But. I'm still STLIGHTLY functioning, I think.
 
5 hours i can just about function normally even though i might be a little drowsy
im totally fine with 6hours+
 
6 to function but be irritable and not in a very good mood, 9-10 to be fully myself. i usually get 5
 
i usually sleep between 6 and 8 hours but idk how it ties into my functioning bc i dont function no matter how much or little i sleep ?\_(ツ)_/?
 
about 5-6 and I'm fine for the day, I can function on 4 but I'll have a headache most likely. Any more than 8 hours of sleep and I'm exhausted all day.
 
If i dont get at least 8 hours i turn into a monster
 
I need at least 7 hours. I can do 6 but I usually feel pretty drained. Any less and I'm basically a skeleton. 8 is ideal for me but I usually aim for 7 cause going to bed before 11:30 is difficult for me.
 
I feel exhausted throughout the week when I get 7.5-8 hours. The only time I feel rested is on the weekends, when I sleep roughly 10-11 hours. So I would say I can function on 7.5-8 but I start to fall asleep whenever I sit down for a long time.
 
Q: How much sleep do you need to function?

A: This is difficult question for me to answer. I usually have weird sleeping patterns. So... It is hard to say really. I'll just give an estimate about it. Perhaps I need about like 8 hours or more for me to function well.
