I have a G Power 2022. So not 'old' by any means, but it was having some serious issues and I had to factory reset which cleared most of them.
It's battery has declined. It takes a full night to charge I'd estimate it holds about half a day of battery life. (So, not bad but not new).
I've considered trying a Google Pixel for my next phone. I already have a Chromebook for my computer so I might as well go all in with the google products.
I'm going to hold off for a while until I can afford something decent.
Mine's an iPhone XS, so it's about five years old by this point. Truthfully though, I don't very much care for smartphones, so I'm not in any rush to get a new one. I've thought about getting a Google Pixel myself once I find myself needing to replace my current phone, but only really because of the camera. Roommate recently got a Pixel himself as his previous phone was dying on him, and the camera is so much better than the one on my phone that I'm a little jealous... but not so jealous that I can't wait a while.
it's less than a year old, i got my iphone 15 in july so i've had it for 7 months. it was an upgrade from the iphone 12 that i had for 3 years, i would've kept it for longer but the battery condition was terrible and the screen was bugging
It's about three years old now and believe it or not, but this phone is actually my very first smartphone. I kept up with a dumb phone for the longest until my provider told me to switch it out because they were about to end the service on it because it was outdated.
I'm not a fan of having a cellphone, but unfortunately I'm going to need it.
I have an iPhone 12 that I got in November 2021. The battery life is obviously not as good as it used to be, but otherwise it's still in good condition!
I have a galaxy note 9 that i bought when it come out, so - 6½ ish years?
I love my phone. Love love love. It's still in great shape, still works great (I'm terrible with the camera though). I can go buy a new phone, but I've avoided doing so- mostly because i dunno if I'll like the new one as much as i love this one.
I’m thinking about upgrading to an iPhone 15 soon. I keep putting it off lol
My current phone is still usable, but it’s starting to slow down. A 15 would run more smoothly, screen would be a bit bigger so easier to see things, and the camera would be nicer.
The other thing is that I used to use portable WiFi so I kept my phone plan at the minimum data. My new apartment includes WiFi so I canceled the portable, but now I only have 3 GB of data per month. I figure I might as well switch the plan at the same time I get a new phone.
So it would be nice to upgrade, especially for the camera, but I’m not in a rush.
Bought mine used in 2021 and it's a 2018 model. Never buying an used phone again. The battery is decent but the camera is trash. I cleaned it up multiple times but nothing works. It might be a very superficial reason to hate a phone, but I want to snap memories that don't look like they've been taken from behind a dusty curtain. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
