I had a friend who cut pizza with scissors.

We're not friends anymore.

I cut pizzas with kitchen shears (aka scissors). Kitchen shears are useful for multiple things. Pizza cutters are mostly just useful for pizza. Don't need to take up space in my kitchen with stuff that only has 1 purpose and I don't use often.

There's some pizzas that are rectangles, it's easier to cut them into squares.

I know we have a local pizzeria here and they sometimes slice the really big (circular) pizzas into squares.
Good pizza, but in squares. So the last ones that eat get the small, not-square crust edges. Weird.

I always cut my pizza in triangles

If the pizza is a circle then I cut triangles. Where I used to live there was a pizza-type dish called 'pide' and those were meant to be cut in rectangles

If it's a standard circular pizza, then I've only ever had it cut into triangles. If it's a rectangular pizza, I've only ever had it cut into squares. I'm not necessarily against square cut circular pizza, I've just never tried it. So, for the poll, I guess just triangle cut due to the specification laid out in the original post.

I mean the slices usually are about an inch lxw, if not just slightly larger lol

not like you're cutting it into squares with the same general surface area of triangle slices (I mean unless maybe if it's a super large pizza for reasons stated above)
