My luck is pretty bad. So we left at 4:45, went to Wal-Mart. The line was huge, I've never seen anything like it. There were hundreds of people for Black Friday. Then the line started moving fast, and before we even got in people were comming out with huge TVs. When we got in we just ran. The Wal-Mart employees were like cheering and laughing and yelling because it was just a huge crowd of people running like crazy. So to avoid most of the crowd, we ran through the clothes section, it felt like we were in the jungle running from some animal. :gyroidsurprised:
So we get to electronics (we had to go around the whole electronic section because there were so many people) after dodging and weaving, we see Wii Case is full of GCN stuff and a few Wii games. And another person said they didn't even get it. So it's been like 5 minutes since we got in the store, we run to the car, drive 30 minutes to Gamestop (after calling a lot of stores) which was the only place I knew had it.
We get there and theres like 30 people waiting in line. Not all for the Wii, but most were. There were about 20 for the Wii. The first person got there 8:30 last night. So we get there and there was a rumor that there was 20-25, so we were like "okay we just made it". So it's like 5:30 (opens at 7) and the people were nice there, I was suprised that they were so cheery. Anyway, at like 6:15 the guy who works there got there, he had to move people out of the way (the whole front of the line had camped there). And after he walks in, everyone runs closer to the door.
So at about 6:30 the guy who works there comes out and yells, "we have 2 PS3s and 7 Wiis". I was like noooooooooooooo. People in front and in back were like noooooo. So we just waited untill he gave everyone their tickets. At about half the line he says "all out of Wiis" and a couple people leave, but most couldnt accept that we missed it again! So the guy goes down the line, and he still has the PS3 ticket. He's walking down like, "PS3, PS3, PS3", waving the ticket, holding it up. And no one wanted it! Nobody wants a PS3. It was funny.
So we run to the car, dirve to another Gamestop 1 minute away. We get there and the people say they only have 4. No hope!
So we go back, and I lost $6 from gas!
