I'm too impatient! Got my tent upgrade, blathers tent, and everything last night for the cycle over today and then I got everything else that happens.... and.... I did it...
I time traveled to see the museum because I was too impatient to wait another 2 days ;; I just... really wanted to see it for myself !

Anyone else feel like the excitement leading up to the game makes you want to TT??

Yeah it’s exciting but waiting and not time travelling is what keeps me coming back day after day. I TTd in NL and it definitely made me get bored of it more quickly.

I didn’t even get to play until this morning so I didn’t even get the first day cycle yet. I don’t mind waiting until tomorrow though. It gives me something to look forward to.

Didn't think I was going to need to time travel because I don't have much time to play as it is, but I did for the first couple of days because the early game progression is a little ridiculous in my opinion. Not sure why we don't even have access to the full town (lack of pole vault) on the first day when the things to do are already extremely limited.

Other than that, I don't think I'll need to time travel.

Yeah, the same thing happened with me in NL. The museum is my one weakness however; that butterfly room is SO CUTE.
I dont see myself TTing for anything else however; unless it takes another full day to completely unlock terraforming lol

I'm a serial time traveler in New Leaf but for some reason I felt pretty satisfied with my first day and didn't feel the urge to want to time travel. But I also fished for like 5 hours straight and just couldn't play anymore LOL. But can I keep this up for 100 days (which is my goal), who knows? I think the days wait for the building upgrades might tempt me a little but it actually is a little refreshing playing a town fresh and taking it slow, especially since I was time traveling like crazy in New Leaf only a few days ago to get my towns finished before launch.

i time travelled for the museum too because i'm in quarantine at the moment and have been playing for six hours today haha. it's in general nothing bad. i time travelled a lot in new leaf and never got bored of it. been tt-ing since 2014 and the fun is still there. some people say it's necessarily something bad, that takes the fun. but look at all the possibilities you still yet can discover. trust me, even with tt-ing i still have lots to do in my old town. so if you're ok with tt-ing, then everything should be alright

Your game, play how you want! Personally, I feel I’d be overwhelmed if I TT’d, lol. There’s so much to do each day at the start of your island.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted though! I got my game a day early from GameStop and I was so tired last night I completely forgot to ask Nook to actually upgrade my tent! So now I have no storage and my house exterior is a little messy, lol.

i may tt just to get the new museum so i can at least donate again for some things to do since im out of work and the beginning progression is oh so slow, but i really wanna make it my goal to not tt much this game, at least for a few months and if i do, always tt back to the right day. i wanna go thru the game real time. but im so impatient

Well my game was supposed to come today, but I didn't get it simply because the delivery guy forgot to add it to his truck. So I'll change my Switch to the 20th when I get it and then change it to the current time and date when I finished first day duties.

im determined to not TT as it sort of ruined my experience for acnl (i went crazy with tt'ing, hacking and all that) so i really want o just enjoy ACNH for what it is now

I always felt consumed and happy w/ my time traveling tbh <3 I find more enjoyment out of AC when I have everything unlocked as there's more customizability overall, i'll never feel bored and even w/ NL I spent time TT a LOT and played it obsessively for years :'3

i also caved because i burned through the first day pretty quickly and just couldn't wait to see what was in store for day 2 and to fully explore the features. i'm going to try and resist in future - i ttd back to the current date so at least going forward my dates will line up if i don't tt again, and discovered tting backwards isn't the same as it is in new leaf - things like availability at nook's, character interactions and resources align with how they were on the actual day, so it's not a brand new day.
honestly, i'd gladly just tt, but i'm worried about the implications it'll have on events and updates.
