I haven't got the customization tool yet and I'm anxious that my game could be bugged

So, I was talking with a friend that started playing like 5 days after me and he already has the tool to change furniture color, I found that weird because I thought that was something that you got later on the game.

So I asked more friends and they all got it, even the phone case customization, and I don't know why Nook hasn't given me that option yet... I've got the shop, the museum, three new villager houses finished, I've expanded my house three times and tomorrow the Town Hall's construction starts, I talk with Nook and nothing, he hasn't even given me the wardrobe recipe that is supposedly needed to get that tool, and the phone case customization isn't at the terminal too.

I'm really anxious that my game has bugged somehow and I will never have that option, I don't know if Tom Nook can give it after the Town Hall is finished.

Am I being paranoid? Did I forget to do something?

Yes, he hasn't given me new dialogue, he just repeats the last thing, something like "everything is done, just do whatever you want"

No, he hasn't, at least I don't remember it
But even if he did and I didn't read it (althought that would be weird, I'm that kind of player that hates spamming A because I have a very high FOMO always) he should give me that option if I went to speak with him, which he doesn't

2. Build a museum (not tent)
3. Build Nook Cranny
4. Build 3 Villager homes.

It's possible to you skipped past the dialogue.

Nook will ask you to craft a certain item before you can begin the customization class. You'll need to find that out and craft it.

Hmm, very weird. But I do remember that the phone customization unlocks with the town hall. It adds more things as well, like more inventory space and a lot of recipes and furniture pieces.

But you should definitely have customization. According to a website:

To unlock customization, complete the following tasks:

Unlock the Museum.
Get three new villagers to move to your island (you can meet and invite new villagers you come across on Mystery Island Tours).
After completing the above, attend the customization workshop Tom Nook invites you to.

I think the important part is that the 3 villagers already moved in?

My bf doesn't have the Town Hall and he bought the phone case customization in his tent's terminal

And yeah, I know, I've searched everywhere and every page says the same, I've already done everything that they say... I hope my game isn't bugged and I have to restart... maybe I've forgot some little detail but I don't know what could it be, it can't be any major thing since as I said my Town Hall starts the construction tomorrow

That item is a wardrobe, that's what my friends and every page says, and I've looked everywhere for that wardrobe recipe he supposedly gives (and I don't remember that happening in my game) but I assure you I don't have it

Can you see if you can buy and use the kits from the shop?

I've checked and there isn't any kit, like, I just have the same recipes as always, for tools like shovel and axe

The option isn't "What should I do", but "About that workshop". If I am following it correctly, this guy didn't get that option until Day 5
