But yeah, due to COVID-19, this morning I called my WalMart to see if they would, if all goes well and they're open, would they have stock, and I specifically asked if they HAD it in stock.

They broke protocol and basically told me they have it in their warehouse and its ready to be stocked Thursday night for Friday morning and it kinda just killed me a little on the inside that its there but I can't have it yet lol

Yeah, most stores are going to have it by now. But Nintendo gets upset with stores that are known to break street date (some other companies do too), so a lot of major stores will not sell it to you early. Some literally can't because their computer system blocks them from doing so.

Canada is super guilty of breaking street dates lol, I can't deny this as a Canadian. Especially with Pokemon.
