But i know a lot of people live Isabelle, and wish she had more of a role like she did before. Honestly im not a huge fan of her. I dont really like her for some reason. I never have from the beginning. Im happy shes not directing us around a lot in this game

I don't think she will! Nook seems to be the face of the island and Isabelle seems like more of an assistent again?

Isabelle is okay. I don't hate her, but I also don't care all that much for her. Her character archetype just isn't the sort of thing I gravitate towards. She (in my opinion) is one of the blandest NPCs we have so I'm glad that Tom Nook is taking on the leadership role this time around.

I like it that Isabelle works for Nook now! I thought she was lovely but it was disturbing that she never got any sleep... （；゜０゜）

If people give you hate for not liking a character in a video game that is their issue. Personally I am not attached to any of the NPC's where I would be feeling any type of strong emotions if they are or aren't in the game. I like the NPC's but I am not emotionally attached to any of them.

I think Isabelle is a cutie, but I think equal attention should be paid for each NPC. I'm happy to see Celeste back and I'm sure everyone has a different favorite, so I hope most of them show up at some point.

I came in wondering what could be hated and surprised to agree that hating anyone over disliking any NPC's would just be silly : ) I don't love nor dislike Isabelle (she is cute though) but I never felt she was ultra-special either haha. It is definitely nice not to be dragged around. Also hopefully we get a bit more freedom in the daytime tutorial; hand-holding is never much fun.

isabelle isnt a favourite but she has her cute moments. My favourite NPCs have been KK Slider, Celeste, and Kicks so I'm glad to see those back in the games on some level! plus isabelle having a role of changing town tune and flag lets her take a backseat which is refreshing to see

I think she's super cute. I'm glad she's still in the game, even if she doesn't have such a major role.

Never understood how she became the staple of the series when she was introduced in the 3rd game. I think Tom Nook is more of the mascot for AC and I'm glad he has a much bigger role now. And, at least Isabelle is still here.

I actually agree with this, he was there from the very beginning (the father of AC haha) in a sense : ) Or maybe just the OG Uncle who gives you stress-free debt every game lol?

She's okay as a character. I love being able to joke about her being a card carrying communist, being the true Mayor of New Leaf, and embezzling taxes and funds.

She honestly seems to be in the pretty much exact same role as before.
I'm not that big on her since NL kind of killed every characters personality but she has a cute design. Hopefully in NH she actually has more than adorable super happy secretary who works 24/7 to her character.

She?s always got on my nerves because of how restrictive she was with placement of pwps in new leaf. Maybe it?s for the best that was she demoted in new horizons.

I mean, she has the exact same role in the game. She's a secretary. She is also adorable and I like having her around, but it isn't like they are doing anything different with her. The only thing we don't have to ask her for is where can we put our PWPs.

It could be that she is really popular with people who just started with New Leaf. She is one of my favorites because she was so positive and a little ray of sunshine. I don't think it is fair to call her boring.

i really like isabelle and am a bit sad to see her not as important anymore, but i'm glad she still performs the functions she had in new leaf. i imagine that once resident services changes into town hall nook won't be as center stage anymore, so truly all npcs in this game are getting about equal spotlight which is nice. she is a cute character and if i ever need a dose of her there are also 3 other games to choose from (acnl, hhd, pc).

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Isabelle either! I don't hate her or such, but I'm very indifferent to her and am glad she doesn't seem to be the face of new horizons. I'm happy for the people who love her though, we all have characters in ac we love that isn't someone else's cup of tea.
