I spent over 2 hours last night clearing flowers and quickly made over 100k bells and broke 5 shovels and I'm still not done. Note to self, blue roses sell for a pretty penny! I sold a whole field of them!

I hate flowers anyways, I hid all mine at the back of cliffs (for 5 star rating) and just use lily of the valleys to decorate areas, since I see these more like achievements for maintaining a perfect town so long.

Oh, man. Both my New Leaf town and my New Horizons town are overtaken by flowers. I mean, it looks good in some place, but then it rains, and they spread, and.... *sigh*. So many.

So I stopped by isabelle to see my island eval and I dropped to 4 , not enough flowers.

Nope, not falling for that again. I'll be happy with my 4 star rating and lone little lily of the valley for now.

Yup I did that too last spring about a month or so after the game's release. I was still very excited about ACNH and preemptively bought way too many hybrids off people from this website and with the arrival of rainy season I ended up like you with 500+ hybrids. What really sucked tho was at the time everyone seemed to be in the same boat so no one wanted to buy my extras online (I only sell on this website) so I ended up selling a bunch to Nook's. Surprisingly it didn't take me that long to dig them all up.

I'm having the exact same problem right now. All of my flowers are either on the beaches or the back of my island, where they seem to grow faster than the weeds in this game. It's a floral nightmare! I have no idea what to do with them all at the moment. xD

i keep my spare flowers on my beaches for this exact reason haha! my husband's island got completely overrun with flowers (literally no room to place anything at all) so i spent hours digging them up / trashing the colours he didnt want / moving the rest to the beach.

I have flowers on my beaches too until I can decide where I want to place them. This is one reason why I wished the two dirt paving things we have would be used for flowers. Like having flowers on the grass is nice... but with how the flower are, I think it would be best to contain them in a "flower bed" Or maybe a new paving option that looks like there are some plants and dirt together that flowers could grow on.
I mean.... the coconut trees work with the sand paving so...

I am currently in the process of cleaning up my island.. I didn't really play for a while (or only five minutes without paying attention to the flowers), so now the whole back of my island is literally covered. I clean it bit by bit, and now my beaches are covered but at least those flowers won't spread:')

I have now cleared my entire island of each and every flower for this very reason, the uncontrollable growth of them makes me really dislike them in this game. I may put some back on my island in the future but only in contained areas where it is not possible for them to spread. Flowers make it awfully difficult to make changes and terraform the island when I feel like it. They are always there. In the way.

i bred flowers like crazy and now i have so many with no idea what i'm gonna do with them. ;w; and i don't wanna give them away becus what if i come up with an idea for them and then don't have them?!

I had the whole back part of my island covered in roses while I was thinking of what to do with this area. But since designing the back no having to remove all the roses is taking for ever plus my shovel keeps breaking

I definitely wanted flowers scattered though my trees, so I let them grow unchecked for a while. It took forever to dig up the extras and leave something that looks unstructured.

Now I make sure to dig up every new flower after rain or snow, so my numbers don't increase.
