So I just recieved a hundred dollar check for my birthday and I want to get a tablet. I'd like to save at least 30 dollars, so around 70 dollars max for the tablet. I went looking around online for some, most in the 50-100 dollar range. But so many to choose from! Reccemondations please? Thanks ^^

as usual, I'd recommend something from wacom!
a lot of my friends started out with other tablets, but always ended up with wacom - they say that it's the best that they've used so far, too. I've been a faithful wacom user since the beginning so I couldn't say much about it... other than it's a good tablet, haha;;
It might be a bit over your budget tho - I checked the price on amazon here

otherwise, I recommend something from huion - some of my friends have used it and find them quite good! They're a bit cheaper than wacom tablets, if you don't mind the fact that they're a Chinese company... here's an amazon listing and here's one of my friend's art tumblr! (also, rosuuri on dA uses a huion, too)

good luck with tablet hunting!

I posted something similar here, you should check it out for more suggestions. I haven't bought mine yet, but I'm leaning towards a Huion tablet.

Oh well looks like my mom is going birthday shopping for me later and is bringing my sis with her and will be getting me a drawing tablet huzzah. Probs gonna be wacom, that's what my sister uses.

Who gives their child $100 dollars? I've never had over like $10 in my hand or pocket

My grandma gave me 100$.
Because birthday money to buy things so she doesn't get me things I don't want
She got me a f***ing sofia the first room decorating kit when i was 10. TEN

^^ really? awwwww
This is what I want to invest in eventually. How much are wacoms in america?

They can range from $20 to $300.

$20 is the smallest size and $300 is the largest size.

So is it just the size thats different theres no like wacom 1.0 wacom 2.0? cos when I put them in amazon a load of different ones come up (yes this is extremely new to me- im a newbie :p)
Also $20 is very cheap! Why is it always cheap over there

I stumbled upon Huion like Venice said, anyone have any reviews on that one?

I recommend Wacom also, since the tablet I used years ago isn't on the market anymore. I would save up for a couple more months, and splurge on one if you're serious about art. I have a Wacom Intuos Pro, and it's really great to have if you like to draw often.

They have different names, like Bamboo (not sure if they still sell that one), Intuos, Cintiq (the much expensive one 0-0), and a few others, I think. Also, I live in the U.S. and have NEVER seen a Wacom at it's smallest size for $20.00. They might be looking at another brand.

Yeah, I mean I can buy one but I think I will wait a bit longer once I finish college and have more time to practice on paper first.
Which size would you recommend?
