I'm addicted to Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town.

I think I have all of them prior to A New Beginning! HM DS Cute is my favorite I think, but I ADORE More friends of mineral town! Friends of mineral town was the first I ever played~ Not sure which I prefer of the two! All of the characters are precious, but I think Gray was my favorite hubby c: (played the game way too much, married all the bachelors and bacheloretetes... hehe). Currently playing a New Beginning as my main harvest moon, with Rod as my hubby

It's not too bad with a guide! I ended up with Skye, haha! I hated him at first, but he really grew on me and ended up being my favorite of all the husbands!

Allen is gorgeous but he suuuper stresses me out :,D (still married him in one of my files, paha) his after-marriage diologue freaks a lot of people out for a looooot of reasons--- BUT I kinda liked most of it, not gonna lie. He was a super unique bachelor ouo I went after neil in my first file... but after you marry him, his character development just *STOPS* unlike Gray who continued to open up even more after marriage D: 100% feel free to add me to gush about harvest moon! (that goes for everybody, I have a problem. ACNL and ANB have consumed my liiiife)

Oh no, I bought like 5 carts for it because there were a few years where they were on sale for just a few dollars! It was my favorite game so I dropped ~$20 and had a ton of different farms ^^; Ebay can be magical! I played back when the game cube came out, but I still go back and play them frequently! <3

Rick needs more love! He was such a sweet heart! And the spa-boiled eggs were such an easy gift for him!

Oh man, I love Harvest Moon!
My first game was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life... but you played as a boy!
I had to be younger than 10 and beggggeed my dad to trade it in for Another Wonderful Life instead.

Knowing my dad, I think it's kind of ridiculous looking back on it now to ask him anything about video games. But I really appreciate him doing that for me..

I kinda forgot about Harvest Moon after that, until Wii: Tree of Tranquility! Oh my, Gill... <3
Then I got Animal Parade but I can't say I really liked that one.

After getting back into Harvest Moon, I've tried Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon 64. Lovely how I've grown into this series... c':

Ah! Those are great! I couldn't manage tree of tranquility since my wiimote constantly died and I'd get frustrated. I liked the characters, but I didn't really like the artist for that one! My friend showed me A Wonderful Life in his issue of Game Informer... I got so excited, but the release was still months away. I knew right away that I'd go after Nami (because I was a broody pre-teen, haha, still love her to bits!) I got so impatient waiting for the release that I looked up the earlier games... They hadn't translated any of the girl games yet, but I was super game for farming with a cute wifey~ I completely fell in-love with friends of mineral town and made all my friends play! I even met a few friends at school because I used "mineral town" as a setting for a short story, and they immediately knew where I'd gotten it.

A new beginning is super slow to start, but once you get people moving in, it becomes a ton more fun! It's also a bit easier if you have friends to play with since you can give people crops and stuff through multiplayer

Honestly if you've played and enjoyed game boy advance games, I think friends of mineral town is a great one to start with! Harvest moon DS or Harvest Moon DS cute are also great. Most of us start with either mineral town or a wonderful life, and harvest moon DS combines the two of them <3 I'd recommend looking at the characters for each game if you're interested! <3

Animal Parade for the Wii is a really good game!!! If you also have GameCube memory cards and controllers, A Wonderful Life is also an extremely awesome HM game and would probably be a good starting game for you!

Well, the first game for snes is cheap (in the eshop), so I would get that if you don't want to spend much (just in case you don't like it). But, a HM game came out for 3ds called Story of Seasons. I don't have that one yet, so I don't know what it's like

I've heard a lot of good things about Story of Seasons! A New Beginning is also available for 3DS, but both of those games are still pretty expensive ($20-$45 USD range). So I'd definitely agree going a cheaper rout is safer!

I keep making new files for each of them and then forgetting to play but I'm determined to finish them, esoecially AWL!
