I'm new! How do you earn bells here?

Hello!

Please excuse my nooblet of a question, but how do bells work here? Do you get them for posting or..? I noticed that even attaching a picture costs 2 bells so I couldn't do it on my first trade post haha. I tried looking for an answer but I haven't found one, sorry if I'm blind :L

Oh! I have 10 bells! So you DO get them for posting... What else do you get them for though?

The main way is just by posting and answering polls, but the fastest way is usually trading other people stuff.

Yeah, you can get bells from a lot of things, you can post, sell animal crossing items, sell pokemon, sell collectibles, sell art, those are some of the main ways how you can get bells.

I'll add one thing: keep posting and sometimes this week or next you will get a few introductory or welcome bells. I forget the amount, it used to be like 900 but may be reduced recently.

Hi I'll copy and paste what I told another user that asked the same question. Just FYI next time use the search bar before you post a question thread (because this question is pretty common).

An easy way to get TBT is to buy collectibles from the store when they are restocked and sell them. I had 400 TBT before the restock from the TBT direct, but now I have over 10,000 from reselling the collectibles I bought.
