^^this... or a simpler version available on most (but not all) routers is to allow all connections to the MAC address of your Wii. You have to assume that, since all connections for the Wii go through NintendoWFC, that they will all be safe. That way, you aren't opening those ports up for connections to the computer(s) on the network. Like I said, this isn't available on every router out there, though I honestly don't understand WHY since it's such an extremely effective means to setting up the security level of a network. If you can do it on your router, though, then do it. I have my network set up with high protection for all my computers except one, which is on medium (usually used for online gaming anyway), and then the Wii has no firewall protection.Brian117 said:If you can, allow these ports to be allowed through the firewall:

You don't need them unless you have something blocking your Wii.
Also, forgot to say that the ports are TCP.

Allow all traffic to all destinations. (Necessary for peer-to-peer connections and game play).
