In terms of diversity, how would you say my villagers are? I've gotten some harsh criticism...

Having multiple villagers with the same personality is not 'playing the game wrong' by any means. If you like your villagers, keep them. And then if you start to feel like the dialogue is getting too repetitive in your opinion, decide if you want to try to get new villagers. No need to listen to anyone trying to tell you how to play just because they're Animal Crossing "vets." I've been playing Animal Crossing for like 15 years, and my villagers are usually mostly peppy and snooty. It's what I like, and it's how I want to play. I don't really care if anyone says you have to have one of every personality. Each player is allowed to do whatever they wish to in their Animal Crossing game.

I’d personally be bored by the lack of variety in personality, but the villagers themselves aren’t boring at all.

Like others have said, those posters were most likely jealous. I think it’s pretty unfair to call popular villagers, or having them, boring and basic. There’s a reason they’re so desirable—they’re good designs and cute as hell!

Those are great villagers. Animal Crossing is what you make of it. If you like them, then keep them <3 Whoever said that is just wrong

Well, everyone who told you that is just silly. That's an awesome town! I even see some old favorites. If you like them, keep them. If you get tired of them, they can move out eventually. It is your town. Are you happy with your crew?
