I don't know why you're asking me this considering that we've been playing together for several years now my dude, I think you'd have a decent idea on my style by now.

I'll bite though. Generally I like to seek out town leans in the beginning and read players individually. If someone pings me as scummy then I'll usually press on it. Typically though I get burnt out if I survive until day 3 but I'll see to changing that this time around

Anyway, I'm townleaning Volt/Dino for the time being. I like the confidence in Dino's posts so far, and Volt feels like town off my gut rn. Ace has gotten a couple laughs out of me so far so I'd say that he's up there as well.

I wanted the bite and methods are pretty important because you're a veteran player which adds to kingship eligibility and it's good to know where your head is at.

We're not too dissimilar then in terms of PoEing. I won't lie I get burnt out by day 3ish as well if I actually survive to that point. I assume you have an idea as to how to remedy that for yourself if you're hoping to be a good town player.

Volt was kinda gut but I think I pinpointed what I liked there. I'm pretty null on Dino - based on interactions the lie wasn't particularly alignment indicative, being extra in order to appeal to Kingmaker. Is she not confident when mafia? Don't recall a scumgame from her yet. As for Ace I just think he's the type who solves himself lol.

i disagree. ness is notoriously against rainbow reads, volt is townleaned for gut and ace is town for making him laugh.
volt is townlean bc of good character not matching role/it not making sense. imo volt is green and i'd be surprised otherwise for the same reason idk why wario is a townie

Right now, sure, kill anyone, is really hard to get reads this early, but later on scum can also hide under the excuse that their hero shot was an honest mistake, because they have been telling that they will do whatever they want.

I don't see mafia asking this question unless it's a big box of wine, which in the context of the claim conversation and the anxiety I'm seeing from her feels organic and makes me lean her town at the moment. Not a lock of course cause I know she's capable scum.

And in this subject coaches shouldn't be necessary if the general sentiment is that blues should not claim and instead subtly hint at their role to the king (softing) and that we're kinging people competent enough to see a soft.

I don't want to have anything but a brief discussion about claiming beyond this PSA about softing. As a wolf (or even spectator) I've sniped power roles by reading how people react to discussing claiming, and from what conversations I've had with experienced players, this is a common tool of pr-sniping.

not anxious, trying to clarify bc i wanna win and literally the only thing i can do is provide reads/reaction test as vt. i did ask for coaches when i was scum in radical's game. it's not ai. coaches should be allowed for people who are playing for the first time just to allow things to go smoothly, as loth got leeway with being new
hero /could/ potentially out just to avoid potential shot on town/killing town king (a possibility -- no other blue can play this way), but absolutely no one else should. that's why i'm getting this discussion out of the way -- no excuse to claim after this discussion. don't insinuate roles either

The thing is, in this game its not about how everyone feels on a lynch, it's about the one person making the decision. If a maf is crowned king their whole team will obvs agree on who they want dead, and all the king has to do is carry it out that day. I would hope the King/Queen provides their own reasons for hwy/why the don't want to lynch someone

+1 on this considering both that logic of a busing strategy (throwing teammates under the bus) being plausible and because honestly the majority of answers are not "I'll do what the town asks for."

@Geoni I don't think that Dino has ever had a scum game other than the one I hosted this weekend but I don't think you can count that. As others have already said I just like her tone, she gives me no nonsense vibes off her RQS responses and I can respect that. Confidence imo is always something I look for in the thread and so far she's fine enough.
