Is anyone keeping/transferring their New leaf town name to New Horizons

I keep seeing the threads about names for islands but is anyone going to used their New leaf town name in New Horizons? I for one are horrible at naming xD, my new leaf town is named Kiwi, no reason specific reason other I like it being short and sweet(and I do like kiwis). I am very tempted to used it again but I know it is a new town/island so starting fresh is nice too.

I am re-using the name of one of my New Leaf towns because I like it a lot.

Kiwi is so cute!!! That was actually one of the big contenders for my island name, but I ultimately decided on something else, which was not my new leaf town name.

My NL town name, Aquarius, was something I came up with on a whim. NL was my first ever animal crossing game so I did not do any planning beforehand, as I didn't really know what to expect. I just named it Aquarius because I originally wanted to do a water or beach theme town (I wish you could have planted palm trees on the main grassy areas!). Anyways, my island name was more carefully thought out and I am really happy with it!

Nope not at all. My towns name was Pallet bc I was put on the spot and couldn't think of anything else. My ex bought me ACNL and I had no idea what it was so I didn't know what to expect.

This new game will be different. I finally know what I am getting myself into.

I am! But i'm going to add something new to it. Literally.

It'll be called "NeoLeafton". I'd add the space, but its 10 characters now, so I have to stick with no space.

I thought about it, but I decided to try to choose something at least a little different this time around.
But I'm not 100% decided on my island name either at this point. I have a few ideas, but I'll probably not choose until I type it in lol.

I reset quite a few times in New Leaf so I've had multiple towns, but I am using the name of the last town I had which I never really did anything with because I abandoned the game.

nah an island being called “Red Town” doesn’t make much sense! Hoping I can come up with something really good in the next 5 days so I don’t have to get stuck at the name selection screen for 20 minutes as I so often do.. Lol

I'm considering it. Venezia is a pretty name but it's not very island-y. Haven't thought of anything else yet, though.

I can't remember most of my New Leaf town names, anyways. The only one I remember is Cardinal, which was the name of the last town I played.

As much as I love the names Roseton, Atlantis, and Hoenn, I wanted to keep those separate from New Horizons. I did plan on naming myself after my New Leaf character though, as if she's moving on to a new place.

I'm going to probably use the same name, just because I am still relatively new to the animal crossing community, and haven't played NL for too too long. I don't feel like I was able to fully finish my NL town so i'll be waiting for NH and using it there!!

My name will be "Sayama"!

nope :'D my time with new leaf was kind of a flop, i never stuck with anything long enough for it to really take shape
so this time i'm turning over a new leaf :3c

Probably not. I keep the same prefix for all of my towns, but usually change the suffix (I believe with one exception). My ACNL town name also doesn’t work quite as well for an island, so I’ll probably use something different. I haven’t settled on a final name yet, though.
