Is it okay to update the DA of an unfinished island?

Why would it be not ok? Contrary to what people believe, Animal Crossing is not a competition.

I personally would update it because progress is the best thing to see when visiting islands...

Free money is free money. Go for it! It’s not like we have rating system like the one in New Leaf. I like it better this way.

I've been slowly updating my DA as I've been working on my island (still not finished with it but definitely more completed than when I first uploaded it haha) and I kind of enjoy knowing that people are visiting and seeing it as it grows and develops
