I can't seem to access this website which, if I remember correctly, has images of all the villagers displayed rather than a list of names.

I thought so too, but when I saw that the subscription expired I was a little relieved. I wonder if someone has contacted the owner about it.

I've always been using Nookipedia since I got the game. It has pictures of all the villagers and you can see them from the main list. It helps that their names and personalities are all indicated right there and they're sorted by species, which makes it easier to find villagers.
