Today I clicked a little too fast and accidentally gave Fuchsia a big bag of weeds! To my surprise, she didn't react badly. But I guess the fact that she didn't give me anything back is a little hint that I shouldn't do it again.

In HHP news, I built a vacation home for Rodney. I decided to go for an eclectic style, with different textures and a mix of furniture and furnishings from different series.

Spotted Reneigh sipping coffee at the cafe, so I offered to build a vacation home for her. I like Reneigh. She lived on Littlestar for a while. I wanted her home to have little bursts of purple and pink. Used my custom polish effect of little purple and pink flowers for the finishing touch.

Rolf and Rex were having fun at the beach. They're roommates. In my head, they're also the bestest of pals. Kind of like Sesame Street's Bert and Ernie. Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with my head either.

This snapshot categorically proves that hamsters and cats are more easily distracted than bunnies.

And Bunnie wanted a vacation home where she can sew to her heart's content.

Today, I wanted to build a vacation home for Stella. I also wanted to set a challenge for myself, so I chose a wallpaper I would otherwise never choose. My aim was to fulfill Stella's need to be "surrounded with pink" without also blinding myself in the process of decorating for her.

Wendy is trying to figure out why anyone would put up dozens of blue and green glowing moss balloons in an area where there is absolutely nothing except for the blue and green glowing moss balloons. Is this Littlestar's mysterious equivalent of crop circles or Nazca Lines?

I'll say it: Furnishing a vacation home for a jock gets repetitive after the first one. But it's probably just me being uncreative. I wanted Iggly's home to look like something more than just another gym so I used items from the wooden block furniture series to add a non-jock vibe. Pretty sure it didn't work. I do like all that brownness.

Annalise is definitely onto something here.

Soleil lived on Littlestar for a little while. I like her, so when she turned up on the HHP island, I decided I'd build her a summer vacation home. Brought the outdoors indoors for her.

Order both, Boone! I once had a drink called a yuan yang. It's a hot beverage that originated in Hongkong. Wiki says it's 3 parts coffee and 7 parts tea but I believe what I had was a 50-50 blend. Some people like it. I didn't. I felt like I was drinking something that couldn't decide what it wanted to be. It tasted... confused.

Ringed with blue and purple flowers, this quiet lake outside the museum has proven very popular with my islanders. Most of the time I see them fishing in it. But sometimes I also spot them singing, reading, enjoying a snack or simply sitting and thinking beside it.

Ribbot showed up on the HHP island and I wasn't about to let him go without building a vacation home for him! I went for an industrial-retro theme with red as an accent and threw in lots of gyroids for a touch of whimsy.

Girl power! Poor Rolf tried to join but was told the beach has run out of yoga space.

I had Gala move in with Ellie. Too much pink? I can't tell. I have a bad case of allergic rhinitis. It feels like I'm carrying either a bowling ball or a baby elephant on my face.

Sylvana visited me for the first time today! This was after she'd ask about visiting yesterday. I said today would be fine. I talked to her this morning and she reminded me. So I went home when I was done with my morning chores outside and, sure enough, she dropped by. I much prefer ACNH's way. In New Leaf, you had to agree on a specific time first. ACNH gives you more freedom and flexibility.

Wendy likes to do her own thing. Which is perfectly fine.

Olaf wanted a view of the night sky. And that is perfectly fine too.

This is the most creative excuse reason for unannounced home visits I've ever heard of.

And I don't know... the super-weird witch part may be true. For the first time, I lost the game.

In the Roost today, Fuchsia and I probably laughed a little too loudly as we plotted our latest prank on Raymond. I think we startled Brewster and Don. Thankfully we didn't get thrown out of the cafe.

The cafe gallery on the HHP island is filled with gyroids. Right now I have every single gyroid displayed except for the last one (a whistloid) that I'm still waiting to find. I hope I don't have to wait another year or something.

Del said he likes going on sea voyages. His room is home to a modest collection of souvenirs.

Gonzo surprised me with new dialogue this afternoon because I don't recall having this conversation with any of my previous cranky islanders (Rolf, Octavian, Wolfgang). ☺
