I mean the whole point of retracting is because the entire basis of the kill on me is because "two docs make no sense and i'm not doc" so when I retract doc the kill loses all validation.

Goal was to have Daniel doc me w/o outting my role.
I was hoping I wouldn't die today and maf wouldn't kill me cuz it wouldn't amke sense for cop to claim doc but me I guess.
I was hoping to bait epona into ccing earlier cuz I saw her softing it, but I don't think she was really softing cop.
Kinda annoyed because the only reason I claimed not lucky was because imo that's the only role mafia would want to cc there. So if I said "i'm not lucky" the natural thought process would be "shawo as mafia wouldn't retract into VT or whatever."

ya I'm ngl I didn't know doc mechanics at that point. It wasn't on the thread and I didn't ask.
I just assumed that doc could target anyone consecutively, which was my mistake I guess.
I went into the cc hoping that everyone would ignore doc and go outside because that was mechanically optimal.

My guess while catching up on what I missed over the night was that Ace was actually cop (hence why he mentioned a cop at all) and it was why he was pushing so hard on Geoni, but guess not then?

shawo knew there could be multiples of a role (meaning he asked), but didn’t read the signups OP for roles so he didn’t know of a role cop or ask if doc can consecutively save (the OP in this thread didn’t have any roles on them until after he claimed so he must’ve read them somewhere)

Still confused on why Geoni is one of the people being thrown around a lot for elimination though?? Especially if shawo's is truthful and Ace is town, then that team read of Ace/Geoni goes out the window

two fake claims in a row just seems excessively risky when it wasn't even like shawo was the leading wagon at the time he claimed to make it a necessity. HOWEVER, if shawo is mafia, then Ace seems to almost certainly be mafia too given how this cop claim is coming at a time when it works as a defense of Ace, the leading wagon, but having seen shawo do double fake claims as town in the previous game, it's not too hard to believe IMO and enough people have been talking about how cop isn't a given that I'd assume they aren't going to be CCing him. Ace was the only person who was giving me subtle cop vibes prior to this

I can also buy Ace as the copcheck choice given his odd behavior D1 with the tunneling tbh; my only fear would be that having been on purpose to bait a check as godfather or something

i thought ace slipped cop too which was what i was trying to communicate to epona via twilight trivia lol
last game i could see the benefit in shawo claiming miller -> mason. here this is harmful to us. like i dont see how this couldve ended well for either of us since either he'd be killed for a doc claim, i die and then he gets direct heat, or neither of us died and town chops between us
