I've got a Nook Miles twinkle in my eye.....
Anyway in all seriousness, I decided to reset one more time because I really hated my island. I already found a good layout, with Cherries as a starting fruit and I even got Muffy as a starter who I am replacing Cherry with on my Dreamies list. Only bad thing is I am starting with Coach.
I am currently on Day 2 (March 21st) and well...I am glad I reset as I found an AMAZING villager on the free ticket Nook gives you. I managed to get Fauna, who I invited to my island. Now, while Marina was my dreamie, I might switch to Fauna, and then change out Ken and swap him out for one of the other Octopi. it depends how long it takes to find Ken. I might swap out Hopper for Octavian.
Just wanted to say, resetting really calmed me down. I was FURIOUS with the game earlier having 5 out of 9 villagers on the island being ones I hated, and if the game is going to give me someone like Fauna early on, I think I am in good hands. Though I do need to say I NEED to replace her clothes. Not a fan of her new initial clothes.
