It's a bit hard to explain? It's based on the princess bride scene. Basically trying to mindgame and see what certain people would believe with a certain kind of action. Her question about mafia chat is, on the surface, a town slip, but I think it may have been a manufactured town slip

I think it's poor town play, but I don't think it's suspicious. I can absolutely see someone not understanding why they're getting FoS'd and calling someone scum for it. I just don't think she can comprehend the idea of the tonal sus you mentioned at the beginning. And bc of that, it's a slippery slope

Can you elaborate on your feelings towards Maddie, Liam?
it wasnt the fact that liam was applying pressure that read sus to me, it was the fact that he was doing in such an eager and overly enthuastic and confident way that made me thought it might b a nervous scum overcompensating for their anxiety abt how theyre percieved, rather than ur more measured approach which felt more like id expect from a town abt 2 hrs into a game
y r u still pressing me over this point tho? if u think my reasoning which i no longer agree with based off how the game is currently going is faulty then what exactly r u trying to prove through constantly pointing back to it instead of actually discussing current points? my best guess is ur trying to make the argument that i tried to bw onto liam to get a vote going, but both u and liam were on tea at that stage so theres no reason for me to counter bw when i could have such an easy lynch. town kat would have no reason to press me on this unless she was certain i was scum and was looking for a slip, and even then it seems too much like grasping at straws

for being overly pressing on points which i feel dont merit the level of suspicion u have on them and trying to convince the other two less experienced town members towards ur side (like asking liam if he wants ur evidence towards ur standpoint)
