Day 78. If today had a subtitle, it would be "shot trough the heart" but I'll explain later. So today began with, after a delicious waffle for breakfast, a tour of the Capitol. It was rather informative, but our tour guide wasn't the best. Afterwards, we went to. A train station to eat. I had a few slices of delicious pizza. They had a Spy Museum gift shop there, so I bought a shirt that said Deny Everything. After that, we went back outside the Capitol for a cool group photo. Next, we went to the National Cathedral for a tour. Unfortunately, my SD card was full by the time the tour was midway over. I had another one with my but it was in the hotel, so I had to delete a few photos to take some more. Next, we returned to the hotel through intense traffic to get changed for a boat cruise around the Potomac River. When we got on, I had a delicious lasagna for dinner. After the dinner, I decided to give a thank you "speech" to our tour guide and bus driver, who were both on the cruise. I think it went really well, and I got several nice comments. After many pictures, we were ready to dance. We only got a few songs, but they were all fun to dance to. My friend had an awesome dance for Takin' Care of Business that he and I did for the entire song. It was a blast. Unfortunately, things went wrong after that. Throughout the night, I was debating if I should or shouldn't ask out my crush. I figured that, since we were on a boat cruise, it would be a good opportunity. On the last slow dance of the night, I grew the courage to ask her to dance and I told her I really liked her. Then, I asked her if she'd like to go out. She said she didn't like me that way, unfortunately. Then, she went out to dance with other people. Needless to say, that put quite a damper on the rest of my evening. At least I had my friends to comfort me, so that was good. I'm still trying to get over it, but having a hard time. Any advice? Please share it. I think that's enough for today. Seeya tonight, or whenever I get a chance to blog.
