Actually, no. I could claim that I had, but it's still a lie and I'd be the only one.
No one's done it, it's not possible. I've tried it for hours under both circumstances.
I had ten villagers and the visitor had room, and I had room as well as the visitor.
It REALLY doesn't work.

idk how people can continue believing the hoax that you can get villagers from other peoples' campsites. EVERYTHING else to do w/ animal crossing that's kind of rare has screenshots to prove it. there have never been any screenshots of someone getting a camper from another town. never will be.

it doesn't even make any logical sense for it to work anyway, if people actually thought about it..
