i appreciate your concern and also echo it, but for different reasons. a few people have been townreading me with no real decent basis considering how early the game is (glow and bianca come to mind but i think someone else has also placed me as a townlean) and if y'all get me NKd early in the game for being a strong townie voice i'll be annoyed LOL
that said, i wouldn't waste too much time doing comparisons between my playstyles bc i am, in general, quite an objective and rational person and i think i play similarly both as scum and as town

it is definitely not impossible to have reads d1, town should stop undermining reads bc it allows mafia to shuffle in all the voices that think "it's too early to tell"
I think just to clarify something which is the reason I'm so undecided on ace.
It was super obvious that they were reaction baiting, but they got trapped in not wanting to go in hard.
This happens for two reasons: They're town and are trying to be pro town (by not starting anything), or they're mafia and wanted to get away with a 'towny looking rxn'. the only reason I bring up the latter is because it's a trap I fall into all the time by virtue of how I play mafia.
And Daniel you are right. I do think I've explained myself too much, probably a mix of me trying to keep myself alive vs. how I would've preferred to play the game. I'm not really sure what to do about it, but most likely I'll revert to my other playstyle.
I think it's interesting how quick people are to paint a mark on "me/toads" just because we voted eachother. I'm more tempted to treat this as a sign that he's town than anything else. I think a few posts stood out as bad to me but really I can't quite tell them apart.
We are reaching a stage in the game where a lynch will start to be picked., and it sure as hell isn't going to be me. So I'm going to look for the post I dislike the most and see what's good.
It's not necessarily a case of Toads < Shawo for me, I don't have an in-depth read on Toads right now but I'm kind of mindmelding with him on Shawo. The recent posts Shawo made aren't really helping his case for me anyway (baiting town opinions?), so I think if Shawo is scum then it looks really good for Toads and maybe several others.
Bianca is very tentative because I can't read her, it's more of a gut feeling.

He's made both the claim that "if I'm mafia it'll look good for X people (not named)." While also making the claim that "no one should be giving me a free pass."
I think this might actually be a leap in logic that ness didn't post here, so I'll look into it.

I want to call this mafia but the simple explanation for town is that, at some point between his posts that were...~2 hours apart, he suddenly decided I was 100% mafia and everyone who didn't think so is "giving me a free pass."
I think it is a bit hard of a read, and not just an expression. Especially since Ness didn't even specifically point out reasons that people shouldn't be giving me a free pass.
Just my two cents on something that stood out to me.
