Ah, so that's how it is! That's really cool of you, actually ;-]

But yeah, those are definitely legitimate reasons to not like Hancock. The fact that she treated citizens badly does make her a bad person, even if she does have a soft side for Luffy. I can totally see why you dislike Hancock, and why other people would too... for those reasons, though. I've seen people hate on her just because she's in love with Luffy, which is ridiculous imo!
And it's true that everyone has "their own cake", haha. For example, I think Boa Hancock's an interesting character because her personality traits are usually attributed to male characters, you know? So for me it was a pretty nice change to see a female character who's a bit of a dictator and doesn't love cute animals. She definitely isn't a good person but I think that side of her is intriguing :-O

Man, this is why digital art amazes me. Working with one layer would make me way too careful and paranoid, for one :-x
But it is true that anything digital can be fixed easily; I suppose I just prefer working with so many layers even though it can get cluttered in the end. I must be biased. How are you liking 1-layer drawing, by the way??

I never heard of that before. From what I have seen, people usually ship them, and comments on YT are getting +18 in that matter LOL. I personally don't ship them though, but I do think there's a slight chance that they somehow end up together at the end. Oda is very Dragonball influenced after all, and Goku got into his marriage because of food...and...we know that Luffy has a weakness for food as well xD... I mean, if we stay realistic, I wouldn't want oh no scratch that. what am I thinking

haha, just do it like the Strawhats and wing it! I personally don't like the idea of planning an artwork in and out. Usually I don't even know what I'm going for until the end. The background for example was super spontaneous.
I like the 1layer paintings a lot so far!! There are a lot of possibilities with it, and I don't have to do lineart. Hair shading is a lot easier than usual too (and looks better as well, lol). And on top of it; i feel like I'm getting a lot more attention with these kinds of drawings, at least on deviantArt! However, those probably are a pain in the butt when it's more than a waist up.

it's definitely understandable that you want more out of your art!! but you gotta slow down and be gentle on yourself a bit more wwwwww after all, improvement doesn't happen in a day's time!! uvu~

don't be afraid, just try the meme out once you're free!! You'll be amazing by the improvement you have really xD;; for me, I think I kind of got my confidence from people's compliments and support (tumblr notes/reblogs/friends' encouragement) :') I'm sure you'll find your confidence in your art soon! <3

Because usually I see people ship themselves with OP characters and I find that to be awkward, lol. There's also the fact that Luffy is pretty much confirmed asexual anyway :-x
Well, whenever I check out OP forum threads that involve rankings, people almost always put her as their least favorite Shichibukai because of her obsession with him :-/
But wow, it's nice to hear that Boa Hancock hate just because she likes Luffy isn't widespread. Though I actually think Luffy/Boa Hancock becoming canon won't happen, since Luffy is probably only willing to get married to adventure anyway! Lmao

The background was spontaneous?? Wow. I definitely think you're getting better with those. I remember that you said backgrounds were one of your weak points but I don't think you can necessarily say that anymore. Whenever you've drawn BGs recently, they always look so sparkly/shiny, haha.

i'm sorry that I'm inactive! But I'm a little losing my sanity here...
ONLY 9 DAYS
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
everytime I sit in a bus back from school I suddenly get halluzinations that I sit in the plane and sometimes I just get freaking out-moments
calm,, stay calm
ok 9 days left until I fly to Japan and I'm dying from the inside because I'm so excited.
I'm as unprepared for Japan as I am for my exams next week (and the ones I already failed this week lmao)
I'd say "just wing it!" like the strawhats do it all the time but I seriously need to do at least a little bit of preparation... rip
I started to plan this Japan Trip in January as far as I can remember and now it's already...AHHHHHH where did the time go lol! On top of that I somehow miscalculated my budget like what the hell??? what did I even calculate LOL!
never give math assignments to Keitara... well an official thank you to my grandpa and father for the financial support in worth of probably 1500$ (half of the vacation's cost *COUGH*)

I'm kinda a bit sad because I wanted to use the 20$ I earned from commissions for some nice souvenirs from Japan but my sister spent it via Paypal, and since I borrowed 20$ from her to pay the dutch dictionaries from school, we are even now...
so I basically spent my first commission earnings on some dumb dutch dictionaries.

My friend today said "imagine the plane you're in really crashes and you die"
Even if I die in the plane before it reaches Japan I will never regret because at least I tried.
I always wanted to go to Japan since I am 11, but it never had any meaning behind it other than sightseeing? it basically had no value at all.

ahh congrats on finally getting to go to japan!! i've been there in the past and it's absolutely incredible! idk if you like animals, but in japan they have these things called cat cafes where you go and pay (5-10 dollars?) and get to play with cats for as long as you want! i think they usually charge by the hour, but it's super cute and all the cats are rescue cats so they just want someone to cuddle with i hope you have lots of fun!
