Kinda tempted to restart my island (without resetting the game)

I've been considering completely redoing some parts of my island now that I have more furniture items and DIYs but it's honestly such a daunting task now that I've got all my buildings and everything placed!! I wouldn't even know where to start honestly and I'm not 100% convinced that if I redid things I wouldn't just make them 1000x worse than they are now haha

I just got all the paths I wanted from the machine, as I don't know if I will renew my NSO subscription when it runs out in February, so I'm already preparing for the island overhaul.
