Every island has that one spot where everybody wants to fish.

Melba and Ozzie prefer to fish far from the madding crowd.

I don't know why but I laugh every time a normal villager says this when they're fishing.I guess I am kinda staring at them.How'd that froggy get in there?

You know somebody really likes you when little pink flowers appear around their head when they talk to you.

Hey......look up there!It's a cloud shaped like a eucalyptus tree!

Eugene is reading a book called K.K. Slider: The Life And Loves Of A Naked Dog.

Melba stopped by for a visit. She doesn't like to talk about it but back in the 80's she was in a ska band called Piña Koala.

Well,we could use a peppy here but this island is for koalas only and you're not Huggy.Wat a sec....aren't you that duck from Billington?What would you resident rep say if she knew you were trying to move to another island?Can I have some o' that samich....?

So where's the third ice cream eating koala?Shortly after this I found Canberra with a thought bubble and talked to her but she continued Naruto running around the island instead of sitting down in the plaza with the other two ice cream koalas.Does Nintendo leave the third seat open so the player characters can sit down or is it just a mistake of some kind?

Here's the island's specialty drink,The Koolewong Kooler.It has pink lemonade,champagne,vodka,tequila,triple sec and Pepto-Bismol with an orange slice garnish.Yum.

Too many Koolewong Koolers.You ever notice that whenever you pass out from too much drinking that other people tend to gossip about you?Why is that?

Ozzie's Visit

Ozzie came over for his first visit to my resident rep's house and read Melville's Moby Dick out loud and in character.Ozzie does a wicked Captain Ahab.

Nobody can resist the mystical charms of The Golden Toilet.

Where ya going,pal?Itchy and Scratchy just started.

I think John Belushi's "Joilet"Jake Blues was the model for Eugene's look.I need to give Eugene a black fedora.

Wow,what a cool tune....and so well written.

Those koalas really like to sit on the island's benches.I don't think I've seen a group of villagers that park their butts on a bench as much as these guys.

I've been testing some wooden paths.Eh,this one looks like a warehouse pallet.

Not too bad.It looks nice and smooth.

Here's the in-game wooden path.I like it but it's a bit dark in color.

Out-of-sync Alice finally got her act together.....except for the wrong colored track jacket.

I was digging through my files and I found these old pics from my New Leaf mostly koala town.Ozzie was The Stump King in that town.

GullivarrrrRRRrrrrrrrr washed up on the beach again and an excited Yuka immediately relayed his location to the local authorities.

Bunny ears?Those look like koala ears to me.

Eww.Yeah,I know.I tend to avoid that beaver or hedgehog or whatever he is.

This was Koolewong's first Halloween.Things look pretty festive.....so far.

The funny thing about Canberra is that she's scary every day of the year,not just on Halloween.

Eugene knows he's outclassed at being scary.

I love that evil purple fog.

Lyman and Ozzie sported the double-eared look.

It was fun scaring the koalas but I think Gonzo took it personally.

Eh....not quite a man cave.You need: a bar with a beer tap,a dartboard,big screen tv,pinball machine,jukebox,an Xbox(the manliest of all consoles),a gigantic sofa with built-in surround sound speakers and maybe a Jacuzzi.

Uh....with me??I guess but I don't ordinarily date other species.

KK was happy to have a big audience.He has great teeth.

It's funny to see the koalas decked out in cold weather gear for the first time.

Ingesting several pounds of eucalyptus leaves right before working out is not a good idea.Ozzie and Sydney have been stuck in these same positions for several hours.

You know,some AC players don't like the normal villagers because they think there's kind of a sameness to all of them.I'm not quite sure what they're talking about.......

Faith invited res. rep Yowie over for something called "roasted witchetty grubs braised in Vegemite sauce".I'm not sure what that is but I think Yowie is in for the ol' liquid laugh.

There was a nice summer rainbow in the sky yesterday.

Many koalas came out for the Fishing Tourney.They actually spread out this time....there were no clusters of nine koalas trying to fish in the same part of the river.

Of course,it wouldn't be a proper Fishing Tourney without one of the normal girls getting nervous.

Oh,really?I appreciate the gift but it's still kind of sad to know that Sydney is giving me one of the last remnants of her former professional wrestling career.She used to wrestle at all the major events on the southeast coast of Australia from Wagga Wagga to Toowoomba under the name "The Masked Marsupial".

Of course Ozzie loved it but I don't think Label was in agreement.I think she's scribbling the words "he sucks" down on her notepad.

Doubutsu no Mori e+ ?Rumor has it that she went back to her native Australia and worked in various industries there including under cover vegetable farming,stevedoring,sheep herding and even a stint as an umpire in the Australian Football League(she's a Collingwood Magpies fan,btw).I wonder if she knows what happened to Huggy?

Now there's an excited colony of koalas taking in the fireworks show.I wonder how Melba got those yellow lines to shoot out of her head?

....I dunno,Limey....one day I was at home minding my own business and the next thing I know,I'm here on this island with a couple of weird animals and a pack of wild tanukis running the show.Call it fate or destiny if you want.I just call it....weird.
