last film you watched!

The original Wicker-Man for the first time.

It's my friends favorite movie, because her parents used to play the soundtrack all the time on car journeys and its all nostalgic and special to her. Plus she loves festival/pagan art stuff and psychological horror. I really enjoyed it, much better than I thought it would be. And it was weird seeing Sauruman so young.

My Left Foot.

An excellent biopic. I really loved this movie, and it's something I'd easily recommend.

Last theater visit: The Hobbit & The Life of Pi

Both were very good, but not stellar.

My most recent film: Cloud Atlas

Again, quite good, but very jarring in some parts. I know it's based off of a lengthy scifi novel & most of the readers are happy w/ the film counterpart. I'm a fan of the director (Run Lola Run is fantastic) but idk, maybe split the film in half? I just have this feeling that the story wasn't complete & the directors (co-directed by the 'Matrix' brothers) req. more time to produce it.

Django Unchained.

So many things to say about this movie. Might just leave it at brilliant and ridiculous.

IMO, I felt the script & how some of the scenes that were framed wasn't as tight (& perhaps not even necessary) Vs. Pulp Fiction. 8/10 but not QT's best work.

My Left Foot.

Wow, second, nice to know someone puts time away for films. I can spare 40 mins. tops during my lunch/dinner but I really dislike it if I have to pause & come back to a movie later. I guess in a way, I'm happy that my backlog of films to watch just isn't as thick as it used to be. ;)

Lawrence of Arabia.

Extremely long, but I managed to sit through this entire film and enjoy it.

Hmmm...last movie I saw in a theatre was the Evil Dead "remake". The last movie I watched at home was Singin' in the Rain".

Well, This morning I woke up to the beginning of Encino Man on Comedy Central and I stayed in bed and watched the whole thing because I'm lazy. So there's that.

I think it may have either been the K-On movie or Ironman 3... But I can't remember which I watched first (gee, 2 completely different films as well) x3

Amadeus

An excellent film. No wonder F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce were excellent here.

I just watched the movie "Warm Bodies" last night.
It was actually an awesome movie. It is a zombie romantic comedy and it's only PG, for you youngsters!

I'm in the middle of Final Destination 2 which is tedious to sit through. Before that I watched The Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Do you mean Warm Bodies? I'm not being a total pedant - it's just I loved that movie too! And generally, I'm not all that into zombie stuff.

The last movie I watched was Brave earlier this morning. I'm trying to watch a bunch of movies in order to aid the waiting process for New Leaf, haha. Speaking of Warm Bodies, this just reminded me that I've been meaning to watch that! I started it just now. :)
