History. I don't see why we need to know all the battles of the revolutionary/civil war or what kind of Indians lived where. I understand why we need English, science, and math, but not so much history.
Ugh I despise math, i've never been good at it at all or understood from a young age so obviously for that reason i've never liked it, since I struggle with it. I also don't like music either not because it's pointless it's a good skill to learn if you want a career as a musician but I never understood the notes or anything like that so I just found it boring and definitely not for me.
I never liked sliding a wooden block on a wooden ramp and calculating the co-efficient of friction before 8 a.m.
plus my teacher gave me detention for skipping class.
Math was my bitter, bitter foe! I loved all other subjects and sailed through with top marks, but Math reared its nasty head and brought me crashing down ... I just can't love it or understand it ... Bleahh!
Honestly, the School District thought it would be beneficial to us if we were taught Senior and Junior level algebra, of course it was fairly simplistic...Truth is...I asked for this?. I'm no math genius but I remember going brain dead at very difficult equations and formulas.
I'm really awful at mathematics, but they say that if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life thinking it is stupid, and so I just have to justify myself in other areas. Creative subjects have always been relatively easy for me. Musical notes is one thing I really need to get learning. The best part is that I actually have interest in learning about it, and know it will benefit me in my future goals.
I didn't really like math, but I was really good at it? I don't know... it was weird. Like I got sub-par grades because I didn't do homework but at the same time the teachers were asking me to help/tutor other students because I got the concepts really well...
Maths.. I don't have that brain. Also I hated P.E because most of my teachers and physics were really annoying like why do you need to know the formula for injecting a frog with electricity .. bruh.
Math. Math is the master of having details that I miss and my answer becomes wrong. (You know, how like there's the order of the operations, which I understand, but there's another rule on top of that, which I've already forgotten, which has made me miss problems).
Music Theory is like that sometimes, too, but I can enjoy Music Theory since nearly everything I learn in it is practical (maybe aside from that 12-tone serialism stuff with matrices. It doesn't even sound good!)
Physical Education. I like working out, but not in front of other people. Plus I am also a huge screw up when it comes to sports so those two things combined increases my anxiety tenfold.
