Let's maybe not panic about stuff being "missing" based only on reviews...

...from people with less than 3 weeks of gameplay.

Remember that:

1. In New Leaf it took a while to get the main street fully decked out. It also took a while to get all available PWPs, so we can expect it to also take a while in NH.

2. There are updates coming. For now it's the holidays, but who knows what else they can add through updates.

So try to chill at least until people start to datamine the game.

agreed. i am a bit nervous, now, but i’d like to think there’s still some info that they can’t disclose just like it was for people who were at pax east. besides, like you said, 3 weeks isn’t enough time to unlock everything especially since some of the reviews mentioned that progression was slow-paced.

Yupp... Plus I feel some of these reviewers didn't even know much about the franchise or had a very provisional knowledge of the game (kind of makes me wonder how they got a copy to review in the first place).

To add to this, some the reviews' quality has been kinda low. Like I'm surprised no one mentioned any absence of swimming, as if they're not aware that this was a major feature of the last game.

Also, I saw one review that asserted there was no hourly music anymore... (hourly music unlocks after building Resident Services).

Not every review is written by an Animal Crossing fan who, yknow, understands the game.

Nintendo could always add more through free DLC.

But the tent thing definitely bothers me. I can't imagine they'd add the feature to be able to downgrade back to the tent. I want it so bad because they kept showing it in trailers and it would be awesome to be in a tent in the summer.

Even when datamines happen, that won't cover things that get added in future updates. So yeah... who knows!

I do think some people are worrying though because with all previous main AC games, Japan got them many months before us. We knew everything by the time any AC game came out. People aren't used to not knowing it all.

Yeah imo it’s definitely a game you can’t really review after just 3 weeks since there’s so much to unlock and by the sound of it, it’s very slow going (at least at the start) so it’s possible stuff has been overlooked or left out. As mentioned above I think that there will be plenty more content/fixes added in future updates! Besides, even with the Select few omissions/changes I’m wary about, I’m still super hyped and if a few things are missing I won’t be too disappointed since there’s plenty more content to make up for it!
