Buy another Island as paid DLC. Would you buy it?

Personally, i would actually buy it. The chance to have another island and other 10 Villagers would be exciting (in my opinion).

I would also buy another island!
I’m so far vested in mine but often you with the idea of creating another one.
This month seems good with bugs to do so. But ughhhhh the time!!!

I would be disappointed we had to pay for it, especially they only let you make one extra. It really stifles my creativity to be stuck to one island and I would love to make a themed town, but I don't feel inclined to do so if I only have one island.
To be honest, would I buy the dlc? Yeah I would, begrudgingly. Even with all it's flaws, New Horizons has brought me thousands of hours of enjoyment. I just wish Animal Crossing (and Nintendo as a whole) would get with the times when it comes to online functionality in games and storage features. Honestly there's no good reason it's not part of the the game already.

I think I would be happier with multiple smaller islands than the massive single one NH gives us, I think that would make dream addresses a lot more digestible as well.

I wouldn't. It's too much to juggle. I'd rather just have the island I have expanded &/or up the villager count on it. I like stuff in one place.

No, I wouldn't. Unless it can be smaller like a Mystery Island/Kapp'n island and no villagers can live on it (but maybe like visitors/island hopping alternative or you invite them like with HHP to visit, idk). When I already think of people who have two islands, it just feels overwhelming for me. I like terraforming and I'd rather build landscapes/waterscapes without thinking where to plant 10 villagers again. I can't do another full island.

Seems overwhelming but actually yes I would but only if it would cost the same as HHP or even less
Because then if I couldn't make up my mind for my island I could get another and it's cheaper then owning two switches and two copies of the game that way

I personally wouldn’t. Two islands is one too many. I can barely keep up with one island, lmao. It’s not even due to focus or lack of time either. I just have trouble figuring out what to do with my island. I can only imagine if I had two of them. If it were free, I would still only have one island.

I have a second island on a different Switch, but I don’t really find I have time to play it. One island has been enough for me. 😊 I completely understand that some people would want another island though without losing their first island!

I'd buy a DLC that gave us seperate save files, maybe up to 3-5. I love creating new islands, I probably did it like up to 20 times, but now that I have most achievements I'm not gonna restart anymore. I wouldn't have the time for it anyway.

No. I had two towns with NL and I had a hard time keeping up with both. It became more obligation and "I have to" than no stress and "I want to". I'd end up neglecting one (probably the new island) and then feel discouraged because it was a mess.

I’m not sure if I would buy it. Even though I already have two islands it would be nice to experiment with different ways to terraform. My islands are pretty much set except for decorations. So I really don’t want to mess with them. I have seen some ideas I would like to play around with. It also would be nice if we could just expand the island we have now so we can have more villagers. I like things more in one place then having to fly to them.

:ROFLMAO:I would definitely love the idea of having another island, often i wish i could use some items or change my island completely but once you arrange it seems kind of imposible to change the entire aesthetics without wanting to throw the console out the window haha. So dont know if i would just pay for another island without anything more additional to the purchase, but would love to have another island to have diff aesthetics.

I would just love to have another DLC with more things to do, more interactions and more gameplay hahaha :ROFLMAO::cry::ROFLMAO:,There is so much it could be added to this game. I never thought i would had said so but i wished this was like the sims 4 and their expansions + kits + blah blah😅

I mentioned this before. A few times actually, when the community was divisive about the one save file per console. I proposed that it'd be a good idea to offer additional save files. Nintendo would obviously make it retail game price. 59.99 or whatever it is at now. You could swap New Leaf cartridges for more towns, but each one was 19.99 or 39.99 depending on when you bought one.

Even $60 while steep is a lot better than paying the full price of a Switch. But I got a lot of flak for suggesting something like that. I get it, it's not ideal, but it's the practical approach Nintendo would take.

We also have to consider that something like that would be great for families or groups that share the same console. Not everyone is lucky or financially stable enough to have their own console and not have to deal with others playing the same one. So this would've been great for them. I feel like this is something the community has kind of forgotten. We're not all adults.

I wouldn't, personally. Not without the promise of a lot more furniture items to decorate with. I'm down to the last areas of this island, and I'm really struggling to find things that fit my theme. If I went with my other idea for a theme, I realize now that there would still be a serious lack of items that would fill an island's worth.

I do love ACNH, but my personal interests are not very heavily represented in the game. A lot of the time I find that most islands that match my interests look as amazing as they do because of the patterns more so than the decor.

That being said, I would love a smaller island, perhaps with only a few villagers on that one. A soft extension of your maingame.

I might consider it, but only under these two conditions-
1) That it is dirt cheap. I'm not paying even a third of the price for what is essentially a secondary save file.
2) That your DIY recipes carry over. Because I have no plans on starting from scratch anytime soon.

I wouldn't. I have two islands already and can barely keep up with them both. Now if they put out an expansion that would make the current island bigger while expanding the number of villagers you can have on one island, I'd definitely buy that.

I wouldn't want another island, personally. I've only ever had one town per console but I have tried playing multiple games simultaneously and it's too much for me ...

I think our islands are big enough already but then I only have my character and another I created a couple of years ago to play as when I get bored [I rarely ever play as this character !!] ... I can imagine, though, that if you wanted 8 player houses on your island for some strange reason, things could get a little cramped with little room for island decoration, so a slightly bigger island would be nice for these people ...

I think I would buy it, but only if it meant I didn't need to buy a whole other NSO membership in order to utilise online trading!

I'd love to make a completely different island, with a more obvious theme, but I don't wanna restart my OG island or tear it down or anything.

I probably wouldn't get a new island if we had to buy it unless it was a bonus we got for having a online membership then maybe I would want to have a new island to make different. Then again though 2 years later I am still trying to perfect my island and not hate it and delete and start all over again and again.
